The Honor Magic V2 is a good-looking phone, especially because of how sleek it is. But there is something about that camera module on the back that sort of holds the device back from an ultra-premium look. The rectangular block of cameras is just too basic for a device of its caliber. We had a few images of its successor, the Magic V3, leak some days ago, and I liked the new rear of the phone a lot better. Now, there are several more live images to peer upon, and I’m certain I adore the new design.

Looking at the images of the Honor Magic V3 leaked by Weibo user Johnson-san, we get to see various angles of the upcoming device, leaving nothing to the imagination. Starting with the back panel, the leaked images confirm the change to an octagonal camera model with a metallic rim, three camera lenses arranged in a triangular fashion (the top of which is clearly a periscope lens), and an LED flash between them. It looks a lot more eye-catching this way, and I also think it’ll be easier to pick out in a crowd.

We also get to see the white model which uses silver accents, and a maroon model with gold accents. The latter looks very classy. Some images also show off the inner display as well as the cover display, and from what I can make out of the inner screen, there’s a crease, but it’s not the worst I’ve seen. Overall, it’s a very good-looking device. You can take a look at the other images in the gallery below:

Thanks to a leak on Weibo from Tech Meow, we also know some things regarding the specifications that we can expect from this device. First off, since the Magic V2 was the thinnest foldable of its kind, measuring just 9.9mm thick when folded, you’re bound to be curious about how thing the Magic V3 will be, considering Honor has been hyping it in that regard. Well, it’s going to measure at just 9.7mm, which isn’t a massive decrease in thickness, but it is substantial for an already thin device. It will also 5 grams, to weigh just 226 grams.

The battery gets bumped up to 5,200 mAh with 66W fast charging and the rumored addition of 50W wireless charging. It will get the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, gain IPX8 certification, and supposedly switch to a 3.5x periscope telephoto instead of last year’s 2.5x. Those are a lot of improvements, so I can’t wait for that July 12th launch.
