Unfortunately, there’s no surveillance app available for TerrMaster NAS enclosures. The company is currently working on the app and it’s reportedly in testing, as shared by support staff on the official community forum.
We’ll be keeping an eye on the situation and update this guide accordingly once we’ve got our hands on the surveillance app. In the meantime, if you’d like to buy a TerraMaster NAS enclosure, the F2-221 would make for a great fit and is likely to support a similar number of home security cameras as the Synology DS220+.
The Reolink E1 Pro is a brilliant security camera that can save footage to local SD card storage until you’re able to connect it to a NAS. If you’d rather not wait for TerraMaster, we have rounded up the best NAS for home surveillance and recommend a few enclosures from other leading NAS enclosure manufacturers.
