The Amazing Spider-Man retells Peter’s superhero origin story and pits him against a maniacal scientist who becomes the villain known as the Lizard (Rhys Ifans). It all connects back to the mysterious disappearance of Peter’s parents, who left him in the care of his aunt and uncle.

    The Amazing Spider-Man 2

He must team up with his fellow spider-folk to stop the crime lord Kingpin (voiced by Liev Schreiber) from destroying the space-time continuum.
