How to Unlock Schrift in Type Soul (Step-By-Step)
STEP #1: Create a Quincy Character
The very first thing you have to keep in mind is that only Quincy players get access to Schrift, so you’ll have to create a new Quincy character for one of your Save Slots if you haven’t already.
Also note that there are only two free Save Slots in Type Soul, and you’ll have to buy another slot for 200 Robux if you want to play all three races (i.e. Shinigami, Quincy, and Hollow).
TIP: You can use another Roblox account if your Save Slots are already full, but remember that it has to be at least one month old to be able to play Type Soul.
STEP #2: Reach Grade 2
Once you’ve created your account, you’ll want to rush trying to get to Grade 2 ASAP to unlock Schrift fast, which you can do easily as a Quincy just by taking on Mission Board quests one after the other.
You have to be in a Party to undertake Mission Board quests, so you’ll have to create a Party before you interact with any Mission Board. A Party with just you in it will do if you’re doing a solo run.
STEP #3: Talk to the Quincy Statue
Upon reaching Quincy Grade 2 after clearing several Mission Board quests, you’re now ready to talk to the Quincy Statue for the next step.
As you can see from the images above, the Quincy Statue is located in dimly lit ruins a bit past the long bridge in Wandenreich City, which lies directly opposite the residential area.
Upon talking to this statue, it’ll then give you a series of tasks that you must complete to unlock Schrift, which will all be discussed in the next step.
STEP #4: Kill Hollows and Shinigami
The Quincy Statue will give you the following tasks to unlock Schrift:
- Kill 5 Fishbones
- Kill 2 Menos
- Kill 1 Adjucha
- Grip 3 Shinigami
- Grip 3 Arrancar
You may go to Hueco Mundo by using a portal in Karakura Town to farm the Fishbones, Menos, and Adjucha, as a lot of them spawn there. Both NPC and Player Hollows count as kills.
Gripping 3 Shinigami and 3 Arrancar players is perhaps the hardest task out of the five, but you can either ask other players for free Grips or Grip-farm a friend/alt character to make this whole process go a lot smoother.
TIP: You can go back and talk to the Quincy Statue anytime to check your progress on your tasks.
STEP #5: Talk to the Statue Again to Get Schrift
One you’ve complete all five tasks, then all you have to do left is talk to the Quincy Statue once again to recieve your Schrift.
And voila, now you know how to unlock Schrift as a Quincy. Have fun using the skill!
