How to watch The Game Awards 2021
The Game Awards 2021 are scheduled to begin on Thursday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT. Fortunately, you’ve got a few different options for streaming them live. We’ve laid out all the different options below:
In our experience, using YouTube tends to net the highest-quality stream since YouTube is supporting a 4K premiere for The Game Awards 2021. Twitch tends to have the least lag, however, so if you’re not as concerned with picture quality but really want to make sure you aren’t left behind, that’s the one you’ll want to use. Twitter and Facebook Live tend to be the less-efficient options.
There’s going to be a number of huge premieres at The Game Awards 2021, with host Keighley confirming that a “double-digit” number of these premieres are completely new games. Naturally, there will also be some returning titles, games that we’ve seen in months or years past but are going to get a new trailer or possibly even release date.
