Intel Xeon Sapphire Rapids suffers umpteenth delay


Intel has once again delayed the launch of its 4th Generation Xeon Scalable server processors, codenamed Sapphire Rapids.

Although the company has previously disclosed the need to alter Sapphire Rapids design due to security bugs, documents obtained by Igor’s Lab (opens in new tab) suggest these problems were severe.
