iPad Air, Apple Pencil Pro, USB-C Magic Mouse, more 9to5Mac

Alongside the ongoing all-time lows on Apple Watch Series 10 configurations at up to $150 off, today we are starting things off with iPad – M3 iPad Air models are still sitting at the best prices to date while M2 models are up to $250 off. From there it’s the return of one of the best deals yet on Apple Pencil Pro, a rare all-time low on the new USB-C Magic Mouse at $68, and Apple’s previous-gen Magic Keyboard at $160 off – this deal likely won’t last much longer. All of that and more awaits below in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.

Apple M3 iPad Air all-time lows at $100 off vs. M2 iPad Air at up to $250 off

This morning we wanted to touch down on the iPad Air – the latest M3 models are all now sitting at the best prices ever on Amazon and we are starting to see some new all-time lows on last year’s M2 variants with at least 2x the savings. While for some, event considering the previous-generation models is out of the question, especially when the latest iterations are at the best prices to date, others might not even notice the difference between the two and would rather reap the extra savings. The details await below.

At a glance the M3 iPad Air is very much the same as the M2 model – we are not talking about the same sizable, generational leap like we saw from the M2 iPad Pro to the fancy new M4 iPad Pro here. The M3 is certainly a faster machine than the M2 but beyond that, it has the “same colors with the same displays that use the same cameras and have the same storage tiers for the same price,” as we detailed previously over at 9to5Mac. They are also both running M series chips that both support Apple Intelligence.

So what’s the real difference here? Well, not a whole lot outside of the price and the slightly faster processing action the M3 delivers that perhaps only some folks will even notice.

Now let’s take a rundown of the discounts pricing we are tracking on both – do you want save $100 on the brand new M3 iPad Air that just released a couple months ago, or $200+ on the M2 iPad Air that is likely the same thing for most folks? Or should you just save up and score an M4 iPad Pro instead? Okay so that last one is quite a jump in price, but it is something to consider here.

Apple iPad Air M3 13-inch

Every single one of the storage capacity configurations on the M3 iPad Air are now $100 off – these are the best prices we have tracked on these machines in brand new condition since release.

While stock is beginning to seriously dwindle at Amazon for the M2 iPad Air, you can, however, score as much as $250 off for select Wi-Fi + Cell configurations, and $200 off standard models. While not all of them are in stock, one of the highlights here his the mid-range 11-inch 512GB model that is now down at $699 Amazon low – that’s $200 off the original $899 list price – and the Wi-Fi + Cell variant at $799, or $250 off the regular $1,049 list.

If you are looking to go pro, here are the best new prices we are tracking right now across the lineup.

Apple Pencil Pro back to one its best prices ever at $80 (38% off, open-box w/ full Apple warranty)

Amazon’s brand-new price on the flagship Apple Pencil Pro is now sitting at $114.99 – not a deal we recommend jumping on considering how often it has been down at $100. That said, Woot’s open-box offer on the pro-grade Apple writer has returned, giving folks a shot to score Apple Pencil Pro down at $79.99 Prime shipped with a full Apple warranty in tow.

Regularly $129 in brand new condition from Apple and currently a touch less than that at Amazon, Woot will now sell you an open-box Apple Pencil Pro for $79.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise). That’s 38% off, matching our previous mention, and among the lowest prices we have tracked from a reputable dealer with the full Apple warranty in tow.

Here are some additional details from Woot on these open-box units:

Listen up! These Apple Pencil Pros are in New-Open Box condition. They will come with at least 60 days remaining of the original Apple warranty, and will be packaged in their original Apple packaging.

For historical reference, the Apple Pencil Pro hasn’t been found online in new condition for less than $100 in quite a long time. There were a few chances to land one in brand new condition at $90 and $93 on Amazon last fall, but after that, availability on Amazon began to fluctuate and when it did make a return, it never fell below the $100 mark – Black Friday and holiday 2024 included.

And just as a reminder, here are the iPad models compatible with the pro-grade Pencil: Apple Pencil Pro works with iPad Pro 13-inch (M4), iPad Pro 11-inch (M4), iPad Air 13-inch (M2), iPad Air 11-inch (M2) and iPad mini (A17 Pro).

Apple’s USB-C Magic Mouse hits the Amazon all-time low today with first deal down at $68 shipped

Today we are tracking the very first chance to save on the new USB-C Apple Magic Mouse at Amazon. While there were some open-box offers that went live for a touch less previously, today’s offer marks your first chance to score a discount on the upgraded Apple Magic Mouse in brand-new condition over at Amazon.

Regularly $79, you can now land the official white model Magic Mouse down at $67.99 shipped to deliver nearly 15% in savings and a new Amazon all-time low.

This is in fact the first chance we have tracked to score a deal on the USB-C model since release in brand-new condition. But historically speaking, that’s not all that surprising – the previous-generation models didn’t really see all that many deals, having only gone on sale a few times in the first year or so of being on the market.

The black model, which once again fetches a premium with a $99 list price, is unfortunately only a couple bucks off right now.

Now, as we have detailed previously, the new Magic Mouse is effectively and quite literally identical to the previous one, save for the USB-C charging port on the bottom. But for me personally that’s actually a good thing considering no matter how many models I have honestly tried out from other brands over the years, there’s just nothing like the Magic Mouse experience for my hand. Just about anything else is unusable after the uncountable number of hours I have put in using Apple’s gesture control – for me, it’s perfect.

Today’s accessories and charging deals:

Still live: Apple Watch Series 10 hits all-time low: Titanium $150 off, GPS + Cell $110 off, deals from $299

The Apple Watch Series 10 deals are in full swing this week and you can now add a new all-time low on the higher-end titanium models to the mix as well. The standard GPS-only variants are now starting from $299 to match the lowest we have tracked at $100 off, while select GPS + Cell models have now hit new all-time lows from $389.99 with $110 in savings. But for folks looking to land Apple’s higher-end titanium case models you’ll now find $150 off the list pricesto deliver the lowest we have tracked to date. All of the details on the deals across all models are waiting down below.

Here’s how the pricing breaks down on the titanium variants – you’ll find both the standard GPS + Cell Titanium model with the sport band as well as the Milanese Loop configs, both at $150 off and at new all-time low pricing. The 46mm Milanese model is actually $160 off in select colors. All of these options are now sitting at the best price we have tracked on Amazon.

Clearly the higher-end titanium models, as impressive as they are in person, aren’t for everyone, myself included. So let’s breakdown the ongoing deals on the standard aluminum models for the rest of us as well:

Either way there some serious Apple Watch Series 10 deals live right now. And this is not one of those tariffs are coming alarmist posts you might have seen out there saying you better grab one now even through the price isn’t that great. These are indeed the lowest prices we have tracked on Apple’s latest smartwatches since they first debuted back in September.

AirPods 4 just dropped back to the $100 Amazon low, AirPods Pro 2 now $169 ($80 off)

Update: As we expected, Amazon has not only price matched Best Buy on the AirPods Pro 2, but it is now offering them for $169 shipped – that’s $1 less than Best Buy on the regularly $249 flagship Apple earbuds. You’ll also find them matched at Walmart for $169 shipped as well.

Alongside this morning’s deal on Apple Watch Series 10 at$100 off and a new all-time low on the latest 11-inch iPad (A16) at $299 shipped, Sunday is also kicking off with solid price drops on the latest AirPods releases. Joining this discount on the AirPods Pro 2 at Best Buy, Amazon has AirPods 4 down at $99.99 shipped and the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation selling for $148.99 shipped.

The AirPods 4 carry regular prices at $129 and $179, respectively. Today’s deals are notable as well – the standard set is now on par with the lowest we have tracked on Amazon since release last fall while the ANC set is at back at the best new price of the year.

There have been some notable offers on AirPods 4 in certified Best Buy refurbished and open-box condition over the last month or so that have mostly come and gone, but for folks looking to score a brand new set, today’s deals should be on your radar.

As for the lauded AirPods Pro 2 – arguably one of, if not, the most popular product among 9to5Toys readers, they regularly carry a $249 list price from Apple and have now dropped down to $169.99 shipped at Best Buy. While we are expecting a price match via Amazon at some point here, it is listing them at $199 as of right now.

We did see the AirPods Pro 2 with some fantastic price drops over the holidays last year, falling right down to $153 for a brief time at Amazon, but the $170 price point we have here today is within $1 of the best we have tracked since then if you’re still looking to score a new set.
