iPad mini 7 $100 off, AirPods Pro 2, Alpine Loops, more 9to5Mac

While we are still tracking a chance to land some wildly low prices on the official Apple Watch braided and silicone Solo Loops, a fresh batch of Apple gear deals are now live to kick the week off. After months waiting for a solid price drop on the new iPad mini 7, today is the day. Just about every configuration, color, and storage capacity is now seeing a straight up $100 price drop with deals kicking off from $399 shipped. Apple’s AirPods 2 are still down at $180 in new condition, but Best Buy certified refurbished units have now dropped to $150 for today only alongside the return of all-time low pricing on the 2024 Alpine Loops for Apple Watch Ultra 2. All of that and more awaits down below.

Entire new Apple iPad mini 7 lineup back to all-time low pricing at $100 off today, deals from $399

Deals on the new iPad mini A17 Pro, or iPad mini 7, have been mostly hard to come since we saw some discounts closer to launch back in October. While Best Buy is still offering some notable trade-in value for folks flipping the previous mini 6 (or other iPads), both Best Buy and Amazon are landing today with straight up $100 price drops on almost all configurations. The deals start from $399 shipped for the 128GB model – the most affordable of the lot, but you will find the discounts across all three models today as well as the Wi-Fi + Cell variants too. Scope out the details below.

As of right now, Best Buy has the straight up $100 price drops on just about every single configuration of the new A17 Pro model. We are expecting Amazon to get in on the price matches here at some point today, but at the time of writing we are only seeing the $100 price drop on the higher-end 512GB model and select colors of the entry-level at $399 there.

Labor Day Apple deals

Best Buy has the latest AirPods Pro 2 at $99 off for today only (Reg. $249, Geek Squad refurb)

As part of its Deals of the Day, Best Buy is now offering Geek Squad Certified Refurbished AirPods Pro 2 with the latest USB-C MagSafe Case down at $149.99 shipped. Regularly $249, this is $99 under the price of a brand new set and the lowest price we can find for a certified refurbished set from a reputable dealer.

Amazon is indeed still offering brand new AirPods Pro 2 units down at $179.99 shipped, or $69 off the going rate. This is the best price we have tracked since the holiday offers last year in early 2025 on a brand new condition set, but you can save even more with the Geek Squad offer for today only.

Today’s best accessory and charging deals:

Apple’s entire M3 MacBook Air lineup now $400 off original prices: 13-inch from $899, 15-inch from $1,099

We spotted a notable chance to score the new 16GB 13-inch configuration with a serious price drop earlier this week, and now we just about every model in the lineup with hundreds in savings. Amazon is once again offering all four colors of the most affordable 15-inch M3 MacBook Air models with some similarly deep discounts. You’ll find the 16GB model with 256GB of storage marked down to $1,099 shipped and the 512GB variant at $1,299 shipped to deliver the lowest prices we can find and the best deals since they were slightly lower during Black Friday. Both the 256GB and the 512GB variant are also matched at Best Buy right now.

Anker’s all-new display-equipped 140W wall charger and power bank now up for purchase with launch deals

Update: The new 25,000 mAh power bank is also now seeing a $10 launch deal.

Anker unleashed a pair of new display-laden power banks for CES 2025 and they are both now up for sale via the official site. Better yet, the new 140W, 4-port Anker Wall Charger is seeing a nice launch deal at $79.99 shipped, or $10 off the regular $90 list price. Use code WSCPV2LIWN23 at checkout if the discount isn’t automatically applied.

As we detailed in our launch coverage, the brand debuted a pair of next-generation charging solutions – a 25,000 mAh power bank and the new wall charger on sale here today. The power bank is, unfortunately, not seeing a launch deal like the charger as of yet, but we will keep an eye out.

Amazon is giving folks another shot at Black Friday pricing on the 4-pack of Apple’s AirTags today. Regularly $99, you can score the 4-pack down at $69.99 shipped to land on par with last year’s holiday pricing. That’s roughly $17.49 per AirTag and among the lowest prices we have ever tracked. The single AirTag listing is still down at $22.99 from the usual $29, or within $4 of the short-lived Black Friday price at $19.

While AirTag landed Apple in a little bit of hot water over the lack of warning labels highlighting the risk of injury from battery ingestion recently, the AirTag remains the best option on the market if you ask me. The models are on sale here today aren’t the the sweet new limited edition Year of the Snake variants, nor are they the AirTag 2 expected to launch sometime this year with better Precision Finding range, but we are talking about Apple trackers at $17.50 a pop here.
