We’re signing off from our Prime Day live blog now, but don’t forget many of the deals are lingering around. Despite Amazon’s sales event ending some of the offers can still be snapped up, and there are even a couple of new ones around.
If you’re in the UK, take a look at the deals below, these are still live right now. John Lewis is selling a 2020 Apple iPad Air 10.9-inch for £729 £569 (opens in new tab) – that’s a £160 saving (and you can get an extra £150 off if you trade in an older model). An iPad Air for £419? Bargain.
US folks, Best Buy has its ‘Black Friday in July’ event for anyone late to Prime Day. You can get a Apple 10-9-inch iPad Air (4th Generation) for $749.99 $699 (opens in new tab) – that’s a $50 saving.
And with that, we’re signing off for Amazon Prime Day!
Prime Day 2022 is over in the UK, but there are still a lot of non-Prime Day deals available on Apple products, so if you’re worried you’re too late, you should still check our guide to the best Apple Prime Day deals.
Readers in the US still have a few hours to go before Prime Day ends at midnight Pacific Time, and the iPad deals available are actually non-Prime Day, so they may continue. Our pick of the crop is $100 of the 2021 M1 iPad Pro 11 – now from just $699 (opens in new tab). You can also save up to $70 on the super new 2022 M1 iPad Air (opens in new tab) – now starting at just $559.
2021 M1 iPad Pro 11: was $799, now from $699 at Amazon
2022 M1 iPad Air: was $599, now from $559 at Amazon
When does Prime Day end? Very soon! Anyone reading from France, Germany or Spain has just 30 minutes left to grab themselves a Prime Day deal, while those in the UK have just 90 minutes.
Readers in the US and Canada have a little bit longer, and the local time that Prime Day ends varies because of the multiple time zones. Prime Day will end on 14 July at 2.59am for those on Eastern Daylight Time and at 11.59pm on July 13 for those in the Pacific Daylight Time zone.
If you’re looking for an iPad, that might not be too much of a problem because most of the iPad deals that we’ve listed in the links above are non-Prime Day deals that MIGHT continue after Prime Day ends (that said, we’d buy soon if you see a deal you fancy because even if it doesn’t time out, there’s a high likelihood that it will sell out due to the spike in orders over Prime Day.
But if you’re looking for tablets in general, one spectacular offer that will be ending when Prime Day closes is Amazon’s huge discounts on Microsoft Surface Pro 8. Some configurations have sold out, but you can still get up to 27% off in the US and up to 37% off in the UK. This was one of the best deals of Prime Day and there’s still some stock left, so move quick if you don’t want to miss out.
Microsoft Surface Pro 8 16GB RAM: from $1,599.99 $1,173 at Amazon US (opens in new tab)
Microsoft Surface Pro 8 8GB RAM: from £999 £616.55 at Amazon UK (opens in new tab)

There are only a few hours left of Prime Day 2022 in the UK, so there’s not much time if you want to grab the one single official iPad Prime Day deal that we’ve seen over the two-day sale. And I’m actually wondering if this deal will even make it to midnight because stock has sold our on most configurations.
The only specific iPad Prime Day deal in the UK has been £100 to £130 off the 2020 iPad Air depending on the configuration. The deal has already sold out in every colour on the 64GB WiFi configuration, but there are still two colours left on the 256GB WiFi configuration, which is actually the one I’d choose because 64GB doesn’t go far these days. If you want WiFi + Cellular connection, there are a couple of options left there too, with £210 off – now £598 (opens in new tab).
2020 iPad Air 256GB WiFi: was £669, now £539 at Amazon
2020 iPad Air 256GB WiFi + cellular: was £799, now £589 at Amazon
Here’s another iPad Prime Day deal that’s worth looking at. What do you say about the 2021 iPad Pro, 11-inch model going for $699 (opens in new tab) – that’s a nice price drop from $749, saving you 7%. And, as with all the deals we’ve seen today, this is not an ‘official’ Prime Day deal. That is, you won’t have to join the Prime membership subscription to get the deal. Just jump over to Amazon and buy buy buy!
iPad Pro, 2021, 11-inch, 128G: $749 $699 over at Amazon. (opens in new tab)
OK, here’s a great iPad Prime Day deal in the dying hours of Amazon Prime Day. It’s one that we noted before, earlier today, and we’re surprised that it’s still going. You can get a $40 saving on the the 2022 model of the iPad Air (opens in new tab). That’s more than we were expecting on the most recent, super-popular iPad Air.
You can chose any of the five colours, and as we’ve noted before today, this is not actually an official Amazon Prime Day deal, because you don’t need to be a Prime member to make the most of it.
Quick update on Amazon Prime Day, and all the great iPad deals. Lots of people seem to be searching, ‘when does Prime Day end?’ And just in case you’re one of them, we can tell you that the official US Prime Day deals will end at midnight, Pacific Daylight Time and 2:59 am, Eastern Daylight Time.
That is 15 hours, 20 minutes from now (check the time stamp if you’re reading this in the future). What does that mean? It means many of the Prime Day deals that you need a Prime membership to get (official Prime Day Deals) will stop.
However, that doesn’t mean the end of all the iPad deals! There are many discounts on other retail sites, and even on Amazon itself, that aren’t linked to Prime Day. We will aim to keep reporting on them, until the majority of the great deals are done. Bottom line? If you see a decent iPad saving on this page, and it’s an official Prime Day deal, be sure to make your buying decision before it’s too late.

It may only be a 6% discount, but this is still one of the best Amazon Prime Day iPad deals – and it’s not actually a Prime Day deal. That is, you don’t have to be a Prime member to get this discounted iPad. Just head over to Amazon and get the 2021, 10.2-inch iPad, and save yourself $20.
2021, 10.2-inch, 64GB iPad: Save 6% at Amazon, now $319 $299 (opens in new tab)
So far the teeniest member of the iPad family has been somewhat absent from our chatter. Though we haven’t found much, we are pleased to report a small saving on the 2021 8.3-inch iPad mini 6. This model comes in Starlight and with 256GB of space, and it’s down $50 to just $599.
2021 8.3-inch iPad mini 6 256GB: Save $50 at B&H Photo, now $599 (opens in new tab)
If you’re in the market for an entry-level iPad, we’ll just remind you that the 2021 model is currently at the lowest ever price for both US and UK customers. Snap them up by clicking through below:
They may seem like small discounts but they do bring last year’s iPads to under $300/£300, which is an event in itself.
Today might just be the day to get your iPad accessorised to the hilt, and a decent keyboard is one of the most useful additions (in our opinion). Our favourite iPad keyboard case, the Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Air (1st-3rd gens), is currently at a record-low price in the UK, down from the RRP of £189.99 to just £86.39 (opens in new tab) (it has been on sale at £96.66 before, but very briefly, and besides that the lowest was almost £120 so this is a great deal).
The newer model for 4th and 5th gen iPad Pro is also on offer on Amazon US down from its RRP of $199.99 to $151.99 (opens in new tab), not quite such a great deal but only $4 off its lowest ever price so worth snapping up if you want one. We also like this Zagg Pro Keys deal, which knocks 37 per cent off the RRP of $99.99, bringing it to $62.89 (opens in new tab) (around $10 lower than ever seen before). The Zagg Pro Keys with trackpad is on our best iPad keyboard list, so this less-fancy sibling is a brilliant choice.
With many retailers using today to compete with Amazon on prices (we’re not sure about the ‘Black Friday in July’ tagline, but who are we to complain?), it’s no surprise we’ve found a decent set of deals elsewhere. We’ll take these 10.9-inch iPad Air 4th generation discounts (opens in new tab), which could net you up to $200 off the RRP. It may be a 2020 model, but we still rate it (check our iPad generations list to find out more), and we’re happy to offer the US Apple fans the chance to snap up a similar deal to the UK one we listed earlier.
Want to know more before you decide on an iPad? Check out our best iPads for drawing and reviews of the iPad Pro 2021 12.9-inch, iPad Pro 2021 11-inch and iPad Air 2020. We’ve also reviewed the Apple Pencil 2 as well as the Magic Keyboard for iPad, if you’re looking at accessories.
Good morning! We’re kicking off day two with a whopper of a saving on the iPad Air (2020). Here in the UK on Amazon, you can save 23% on the 10.9-inch iPad, with the price going from £649 to £499 (opens in new tab). While this might not be the newest iPad Air, it’s still a great tablet at a great price.
This tablet comes with 64 GB of memory and supports both Wifi and Cellular, so it’s perfect for creatives on the go. Plus, you can choose between a fresh light green or lovely rose gold. However, before you rush off to bag this discount, make sure you are signed up to Amazon Prime (opens in new tab) (you can sign up for a 30-day free trial if you aren’t ready to commit) because this is an exclusive members-only deal.
Looking for a stylus to accompany your iPad? We thought we’d see some Prime Day discounts on the Apple Pencil, but while there are a couple of small savings on Apple white wand in the UK, there’s no price drop on Amazon in the US. But there is a saving on our favourite Apple Pencil alternative, the Logitech Crayon, reduced from $69.99 to $62.99 (opens in new tab). Available in orange or grey, it works seamlessly with all iPads from the last couple of years.
There’s a saving in the UK too, where you can get the Logitech Crayon reduced from $64.99 to £56.25 (opens in new tab). And in the UK, Amazon also has £20 off Apple Pencil 1 (opens in new tab) and £5 off Apple Pencil 2 (opens in new tab).
We flagged up a $100 saving on the 2021 M1-chipped iPad Pro 11 (opens in new tab) earlier on, but if you want a larger screen Amazon also has $100 off the iPad Pro 12.9 (opens in new tab) that was released along side it. The 12.9in tablet now starts at $999 for the 128GB configuration. Both are these aren’t actually iPad Prime Day deals, so you can take advantage of the discounts even if you’re not an Amazon Prime day member.
The other alternative to iPad Prime Day deals if you’re looking for a device for drawing and illustration is to consider going to a drawing tablet. We’re tracking the best Prime Day drawing tablet deals, and there are a lot of good options. Our pick as the best buy for beginners or those starting to experiment with digital art is the XP-Pen Artist Pro 22 reduced by $100 from $499.99 to $399.99 (opens in new tab).
That 22 incher is a fairly large option, but if you want a smaller screen, there’s also $100 of the superb Full HD Huion Kamvas 16 – now just $319 (opens in new tab).
Our pick as the best buy in the UK is the XP-Pen Artist 15.6 Pro reduced by £130 from £399.99 to £269.99.
So with no official iPad Prime Day deals in the US, what are the alternatives? Well, we’re pretty dedicated Apple fans here at Creative Bloq, but even we have to recognise that the competition is getting better all the time. And one very tempting alternative is Microsoft’s Surface Pro 8, which Amazon has slashed in price by up to 25% this Prime Day!
Most of the lowest 8GB RAM configurations have already sold out in the US, but there are still some superb deals available on the high spec configurations. My pick as the best buy is the Surface Pro 8 with 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD reduced by $427 from $1,599.99 to $1,172.99 (opens in new tab). If you need more storage, the same device with 512GB is reduced from $1,899.99 to $1,439.99.
Over in the UK, there are still some options left for lower specs, with the Surface Pro 8 with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD reduced by £382.45 from £999 to £616.55 (opens in new tab). That’s more than a third off!
This gets you a premium tablet with top performance and style support with the added advantage that it runs Windows – so you can run fully fledged desktop software. This can be a game changer for people who want to use a stylus for image editing and drawing.
As we inch towards the end of the first day of Amazon Prime Day 2022, iPad Prime Day deals remain thin on the ground. In fact, the only specific iPad Prime Day deal that we’ve found across Amazon’s US and UK sites is this one: £100 – £230 off the 2020 iPad Air in the UK.
This deal shouldn’t be hugely surprising considering that a new iPad Air was released just a couple of months ago, but it’s still a pretty good buy, giving you the change to get sleek iPad that still boasts stellar performance now for as low as £419. There are savings across the configurations and colours, and you can save from £100 off the entry 64GB WiFi model (now £419) to £230 off the 256GB WiFi + cellular model (now £589). The 256GB WiFi configuration is has £130 off (now £539).
Those are pretty good savings representing up to 26% off the usual retail price, and best of all there’s currently still good availability across the five different colour options.
Don’t forget that we’re tracking all kinds of other Apple deals during Prime Day as well as iPad Prime Day deals. You’ll find the best prices on MacBooks, iMacs, AirPods and Apple Watch as well as iPads in our Apple Prime Day deals roundup.
This is a decent saving on the powerful 2021 iPad Pro, 11-inch model. This is the wi-fi, 128GB model, and comes in space grey, but most importantly, you can get this iPad Pro with a $100 saving over at Amazon – it’s down from $799 to $699 (opens in new tab).
Just to give you an idea of who this iPad is best suited to, why not check out our iPad Pro 11-inch review. The long and short of it is this is an amazing piece of kit, but also probably overkill for many users – hence the hefty price tag.
A note on the deal price – we also say $100 taken off the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2021) over last year’s Black Friday, but that iPad still cost $999. So in context, this is as big a saving on the already lower-priced 11-inch version. A decent deal, indeed!
This is the best iPad deal on Prime Day – but it’s not even a Prime Day deal! We’ll explain! Right now, over at Amazon, you can get the 2021, 10.2-inch iPad (wi-fi, 64GB) for $299, saving you $30 (opens in new tab). The thing is, you don’t need to have a Prime Day membership to get it. So is it an official Prime Day deal (even though it’s on Amazon)?! Ummm, aaaah, who cares! It’s a great deal on the already well-priced 2021 iPad, so we’re happy to promote it.
There’s a small discount on the very latest iPad Air (2022) at Amazon at the moment. The list price is $599 and it’s on offer at $559 (opens in new tab). This is the iPad Air with the super-speedy M1 chip, and the very fancy camera. This offer is available to Prime and non-Prime members, so get clicking!
Want an iPad Air this Prime Day? You’re in luck if you’re in the UK as the 2020 iPad Air is down to £419 (opens in new tab) (that’s £100 off). We’ve got this model and we absolutely love it. This deal is available in Rose Gold and Space Grey and is for Prime members only (sign up here if you’re not a member (opens in new tab)).

The iPad Pro is a powerful piece of kit, so much so it could give the MacBook Air a run for its money these days. So if you need a tablet that can handle, well, pretty much anything you want to throw at it, the iPad Pro is the one for you.
This deal at Amazon sees the super-powerful 4th generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi an a whopping 1TB of storage reduced to just £1,199 (opens in new tab) – that’s a huge £270 off!
For some reason, iPad deals on Amazon in the US aren’t as widely available as they are in the UK. But that could all change over as Prime Day continues. In the meantime, B&H Photo has some excellent offers on Apple’s tablet, including a $50 off the 11-inch 2021 iPad Pro, taking it down to just $749 (opens in new tab).
This particular model comes in silver, with Apple’s M1 8-Core chip, 8-Core GPU and a 16-Core Neural Engine, Liquid Retina display, 128GB SSD and 8GB RAM. There is a limited supply, so if a Pro is what you’re after, grab one before they’re all gone.

Kicking our iPad Prime Day deals post off is this brilliant offer at Amazon, which knocks Apple’s bog standard iPad down to less than £300 (opens in new tab). If you don’t need a tablet to do any heavy lifting, and simply want one for the web and streaming etc, this quality little device is more than capable.
This model is usually £319, which is a bargain in itself, but right now you can get an extra £20 off, taking it down to just £299. This isn’t the first time Amazon has offered this deal, and it always goes down a treat. So if you want one, don’t delay as stocks usually fly off the shelves.
