iPhone 16 Pro, Magic Keyboard, leather MacBook cases 9to5Mac

Alongside the now live wider sales at Amazon and Best Buy, the Memorial Day weekend offers are starting flood in. But first, we have up to $400 off iPhone 16 Pro units in Amazon Premium Renewed condition alongside one of the best deals we have tracked to date on the M4 iPad Pro Magic Keyboard. Then it’s on to the accessories – Twelve South’s 15W 3-in-1 HiRise 3 Deluxe MagSafe stand is now at a new Amazon all-time low with 47% in savings and the Burton Goods Memorial Weekend sale is knocking up to 30% off everything sitewide (leather MacBook, iPhone, and iPad cases as well as Apple Watch bands). All of that and more awaits below in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.

Apple’s unlocked 1TB iPhone 16 Pro is $400 off at Amazon today (Renewed Premium, 1-yr. warranty)

Deals on Apple’s latest iPhone 16 Pro aren’t particularly easy to find from reputable sources in food condition. As we reported over the last month or so, we are starting to see more Renewed Premium units being sold directly from Amazon and today we are highlighting the banger 1TB iPhone 16 Pro starting from $1,099 shipped – that’s $400 off the price of buying one from Apple.

These Amazon Renewed Premium listings are unlocked and deliver the best condition units Amazon offers. Apple doesn’t even sell refurbished iPhone 16 Pro units in its official online store, and even if it did, you likely wouldn’t see a price this low. iPhone 17 is on the horizon, but the next iPhone always is – if you plan on holding out for the new models later this September, by all means go for it, just take note that it took until nearly half way through 2025 to see proper iPhone 16 Pro listings go up on Amazon.

Here are more details on the Renewed Premium units as well – they are “eligible for a replacement or refund within 90 days of receipt if you are not satisfied.”

Amazon Renewed is your trusted destination for pre-owned and refurbished products that are inspected and tested to work and look like new. Any repairs are made with Apple components that are new, or reused and in like-new condition. The products will have minimal to no signs of wear, no visible cosmetic imperfections when held 12 inches away, batteries with at least 80% capacity relative to new, and may arrive in a brown or white box with relevant accessories (no headphones included) that may be generic.

And here’s more of the latest on iPhone 16 from 9to5Mac:

Save a giant $144 on Apple’s M4 iPad Pro Magic Keyboard in black at $205 (New open-box)

The M4 iPad Pro is already pricey enough as it is and adding an up to $349 Apple Magic Keyboard to the setup really adds up. This is why we are constantly scouring the internet for deals on Apple’s latest M4-model Magic Keyboard and we have a couple of options to save a ton today. Perhaps the most notable of which is the open-box 13-inch M4 iPad Pro Magic Keyboard in black down at $205.14 Prime shipped at Woot – easily one of the best deals we have tracked to date.

Regularly $349, and currently out of stock at Amazon, you’re looking at up to $144 in savings with today’s open-box Woot deal.

Now, it only comes with a 90-day Woot warranty, but it is described as a “new open-box” unit and it is dramatically undercutting the Best Buy open-box listing on this model (currently selling for $304) where you’ll get a full 1-year warranty. We certainly wouldn’t blame folks for opting with what is arguably the safer option, but at an additional $100 in savings and with a 90-warranty in tow, I’m inclined to take my chances.

That said, Best Buy does have some ongoing deals on the 11-inch models that are certainly worth a look for folks rocking the more compact M4 iPad Pro. We will leave with the deal pricing on its “excellent” condition open-box units with 1-year warranties for all four models below:

Twelve South’s 15W 3-in-1 HiRise 3 Deluxe MagSafe stand just hit its best price ever at $80 (47% off)

The Twelve South HiRise 3 Deluxe is easily one of the best 3-in-1 15W MagSafe charging stands out there. It has been sitting at a notable $100 sale price for a couple months, but the regular $150 charging stand just dropped to its best price ever at $79.99 shipped via Amazon.

The HiRise 3 Deluxe is now sitting at 47% off the regular $150 list to deliver a solid $70 in savings and the lowest price we have ever tracked on this model. Throughout 2024 this model was a hot commodity every time it went on sale, which was typically only during holiday events and Prime Day sales, and it very rarely ever dropped below $112 or so. But with today’s offer, you’re looking at a new Amazon all-time low.

If I was going to make a short list of the best 15W 3-in-1 MagSafe charging stands to recommend for folks, this model would undoubtedly be on it. It is just as good or better than anything out there in the premium price range, and is now quite possibly the best model you’ll find anywhere for $80. I have one sitting in front of me right now, and it has worked flawlessly for well over a year at this point with regular use.

The nicely weighted base with rubber feet keeps things stable while the vegan-wrapping adds a touch of elegance to the package. You’ll find a pop-out magnetic Apple charger up front, the extension for the adjustable MagSafe pad behind that, and a third Qi charging pad on the base for AirPods or a second handset behind that.

There is, perhaps, only a couple reasons not to score this deal – you either already have a stand and don’t need another one, or you just happen to prefer the look of another model more.

Today’s accessories and charging deals:

Early Memorial Day deals usher in up to $110 price drops on latest iPad mini 7, matching all-time lows from $399

Update: While just about all configurations are at all-time lows with $100 in savings, folks interested in the upgraded 256GB model will find it starting down at $489 at Amazon now – that’s $110 off an on par with the lowest we have tracked on this particular config.

Much as we expected, Amazon has now dropped all of the iPad mini 7 Wi-Fi configurations back down to all-time low pricing ahead of Memorial Day. While still officially a week out, things are kicking off perhaps even earlier than usual across a number of brands and major retailers – Amazon and Best Buy have both already launched official Memorial Day sales – with $100 price drops now live on the latest iPad mini 7 starting at $399 shipped. Details below.

While not all of the Wi-Fi Cell configurations in all colors are seeing the same $100 price drops we have on the standard models, all three storage configurations on all four colors are now back down to all-time low pricing – 128GB, 1256GB, and 512GB models:

Apple unleashed its new iPad mini 7 last fall shortly after the debut of iPhone 16 and AirPods 4. It, unlike the new 11-inch model, is a far more manageable-sized machine for folks who don’t mind the compact display. It is also the most affordable iPad in the current-generation lineup that supports Apple Intelligence features – the 11-inch iPad (A16) does not.

Today’s deals are on par with the best we have tracked since release. There are some open-box listings at Best Buy, but the “excellent” condition units aren’t going to save you all that much more. They are less and worth a look, but for my money I’d rather drop an extra $20 or so and just score a brand-new unit.

Apple’s latest USB-C AirPods Max now nearly $80 off for Memorial Day, or up to $130 off open-box w/ 1-yr. warranty

As part of the Amazon Memorial Day sale, and just after the highly-anticipated launch of the new Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones, you’ll now find Apple’s latest USB-C AirPods Max over-ear headphones marked down to $479.99 shipped. Regularly $549, this is on par with our previous mention at nearly $80 off the list price. Head below for more details and a chance to save even more on some open-box listing.

Reports from over the weekend sourced from a trusted Apple analysts suggest the AirPods hardware upgrades might not be coming until next year, with a proper AirPods Max revision getting potentially held off until sometime in 2027. That’s not great news for fans of Apple’s premium over-ears, but it does also mean that an investment now will leave you with Apple’s latest and greatest for a couple years or so.

While we did see a short-lived opportunity earlier this year to land a set at $99 off, they do no often drop below the $480 we are seeing here today – all of the latest USB-C colors are now on sale.

We are also tracking some opportunities to save on almost all of the latest USB-C colorways in “excellent” open-box condition courtesy of Best Buy. They are said to work and look like new with a full 1-year Apple warranty included.

Anyone buying a new set of over-ear headphones right now should definitely have the new Sony WH-1000XM6on their radar. After getting a chance to test them out ahead of the world wide debut last week, I can confidently say they are easily the most exciting release in the headphone world for some time. They are now available for purchase and all of the details you need are waiting right here.
