The OnePlus 13 Will Be Getting Its Chinese Debut Next Month; Global Launch Might Be The Month After
The OnePlus 12 had its Chinese debut in December 2023 and launched globally in January, marking the first major flagship launch of the year; even before the Samsung Galaxy S24 series premiered. Naturally, we expected the OnePlus 13 to have its Chinese debut at the end of the year, but rumors gave the impression that delays would push it back to 2025 instead. That would have meant a global launch in February, or even March.
Well, instead of relying on rumors, we can now say with all certainty that the OnePlus 13 is going to be launched in China in October, which is next month. This comes straight from the horse’s mouth — OnePlus China president Li Jie Louis, on Weibo. Besides that, we’ve also been fortunate to have the presence of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 confirmed in the same post, though that one was hardly in doubt.
Since the OnePlus 13 will be out in China by next month, if this year’s release schedule is anything to go by, the global launch should be about a month later. That should mean that we might all get the chance to jump on the OnePlus 13, probably by early December at the very latest. That’s good news.

Over the last few months, we have been inundated with all sorts of rumors regarding the OnePlus 13, and not the kinds that get posited and then debunked.
