Leaked Galaxy S21 marketing material reveals retail packaging contents and hints at storage options

    We’ve all seen the rumors and leaks intimating that Samsung would follow Apple’s lead by not including a charger in the Galaxy S21’s retail box, and now the leaked marketing material has provided confirmation. The material also suggests that Samsung has also ditched MicroSD card support on at least some models in the Galaxy S21 range.

    On the one hand, you can understand the theory behind not including a charger in the retail box because most of us have a charger already. What Samsung (and Apple) are counting on is that if the charger we already own isn’t up to the job that consumers will buy a new charger.

    So what do you get in the retail box? Well, thanks to the marketing materials discovered by Roland Quandt at WinFuture, we now know that you’ll find a USB-C charging cable, a SIM tool, and a Quick Start guide included in the box. There are no headphones or charger included.

    Storage

    The materials place emphasis on the storage of the Galaxy S21+ and S21 Ultra, which gives rise to the idea that something else that isn’t included is MicroSD card support. It’s a rumor we’ve heard before, and remember that the regular Galaxy Note 20 doesn’t offer support for expandable memory either. It’s one to keep an eye on if it’s a particular dealbreaker for you,
