Leaked Realme GT 7 Pro Specs; IP69-Rated And 6000mAh Battery

Realme is a Chinese manufacturer that is best known for smartphones that carefully balance the scales of value and performance. In fact, I’d say that there’s probably no other manufacturer that balances things out in that regard better than Realme does.

With the company’s GT lineup of smartphones, you get flagship-grade specs at a price that puts Google, Samsung, and friends to shame. By our earliest look at things, it seems that the upcoming Realme GT 7 Pro is going to continue that tradition too, with quite a bang while at it.

The Realme GT 7 Pro Might Have The Rare Privilege Of IP69 Certification

Digital Chat Station might be the most esteemed leaker in China, providing us with consistently accurate information regarding upcoming smartphones from Chinese manufacturers. This time around, the news is on the next top-end device expected from Realme, the GT 7 Pro.

I’m going to get into the entire spec sheet soon, but before then, let me talk about one of the included details that is certainly still rare to see in 2024. The Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to come with IP68/69 dust and water resistance. There are very few smartphones that can boast of such a high level of water resistance and this will certainly make the device stand out.

The new Oppo A3 Pro is IP69-certified but that’s a midrange device. It’s rumored that the OnePlus 13 might be another flagship device bringing this coveted water resistance rating, but at the moment, that is still merely a rumor. Realme could be the first to market with this feature in the flagship tier.

The Other Leaked Specifications Include A 6,000 mAh Battery And 100W Fast Charging

The rest of the rumored spec sheet is hardly anything to scoff at. If you’re used to the Realme GT smartphones, then you shouldn’t be surprised to know that it is flagship-level through and through. For instance, the device is expected to come with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 running things on the inside, with a maximum storage configuration of 16GB/1TB.

The display is also expected to be “1.5K” and “micro-curved”, and I assume the latter means it is a curved screen but not excessively so. There’s also going to be an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and a 3x periscope telephoto camera with a Sony Lytia LYT-600 sensor.

The battery is going to be a massive 6,000 mAh unit and it is going to have 100W fast wired charging (no hope for Realme to demonstrate its 320W charging tech here, unfortunately). There won’t be wireless charging, however.

Expect The Realme GT 7 Pro To Launch At The End Of The Year In China

There’s no exact release date for us to put all of our hopes onto, but it seems like we can expect the Realme GT 7 Pro to launch towards the end of the year in China. Whether an international launch will come is yet to be seen but we’ll certainly keep our ears to the ground for any whispers that we’ll be able to buy it globally.
