If you’ve been thinking that your phone’s 108MP main camera is lacking in megapixels, then perhaps the upcoming Motorola Frontier will be able to scratch that particular itch for you. The previously rumored Motorola Frontier apparently has a massive 194MP main rear camera according to a leak by Evan Blass, plus the addition of a couple more rear sensors.
According to @evleaks’ post on Twitter, the 194MP main camera on the Frontier will be accompanied by a secondary 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP telephoto camera, bringing the total of megapixels on the rear panel to 256MP, plus the unspecified selfie camera that sits in the central punch-hole cutout on the display. As you can see from the main image, the rear camera bump protrudes from the panel quite noticeably and follows a two-step design similar to what we’ve seen on the Vivo X60 Pro.
The Motorola branding looks tasteful in the center of the rear panel, although the actual camera bump leaves something to be desired thanks to the addition of the black glass strip that houses the secondary and tertiary cameras. Something else that is noticeable is the presence of a curved display which may please or displease users.
The Motorola Frontier isn’t to be mistaken for the Moto Edge 30 Pro that is set to launch later this month, this is something else entirely.
