Daniel Khan will give a presentation on “Bitcoin and the Evolution of Money” at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18 in the PSB (public safety building) conference room at 86 Mountain Road, Montgomery Center.
We’ve all heard of Bitcoin and wondered if it was anything other than a speculative investment. Where, when and how would one earn or spend it? Is it real money? What is a blockchain?
Is Bitcoin the future of money? What are the downsides of Bitcoin? Where does it come from? In fact, where did money come from? When? Why? What part has it played in the development of our civilization?
These and other aspects of money in general and Bitcoin in particular will be covered when the Friends of the Montgomery Town Library host Daniel Khan for his timely and informative presentation.
