Lenovo’s Latest Tab Plus is Every Music Lover’s Dream

Lenovo Tab Plus is a feature-rich device

The Lenovo Tab Plus has a large 11.5-inch LCD display with 2K resolution, but not as high a refresh rate and screen brightness as you may like. It supports 90Hz and 200 nits, which still delivers smooth and clear graphics when you don’t over push it. The display also conceals an 8MP autofocus camera. The MediaTek G99 Octa-Core processor runs underneath it, and you’ll have 8GB RAM maximum. Storage options include 128GB and 256GB, and the space is expandable with a micro SD card.

The battery capacity is decent for a tablet, and you’ll get 8600mAh promised for up to 12 hours of content streaming with 45W fast charging. Lenovo has also committed to OS upgrades for two years and security patches for four years until June 2028. Out of the box, the device comes with Android 14.

On the back of the tablet is a single 8MP fixed focus camera. You may not like to know the tablet weighs 650g. Though heavy, it’s justified considering that there’s an integrated retractable kickstand on the rear side. It’s movable up to 175-degrees and turns your device to a mini monitor for a comfortable and hands-free viewing experience.

Lenovo Tab Plus is an audio beast

The Tab Plus has eight JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, and delivers high-res audio or 24-bit and 96Hz frequency. Four of the speakers are Tweeters designed to reproduce high-frequency sounds, including cymbals, vocals, and some other instrument details. The other four are Woofers that handle low-frequency sounds like the thump of a kick drum or the rumble of an explosion, all while minimizing distortion.

It’s clear that the Tab Plus outnumbers the supposedly best tablet ever, the OnePlus Pad, with four extra speakers, and may possibly outshine many iPad models, which are notorious for their great sound. To add, it has an IP65 water and dust resistance rating and is compatible with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, Tab Plus Sleeve, their 68W USB-C Wall Charger, and Multi-Device Wireless Keyboard.

In connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 5, based on the 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standards, and Bluetooth 5.2, still the latest version of Bluetooth technology for now. You’re entitled to Lenovo Premium Care, and it provides personalized tech support, while Accidental Damage Protection coverage saves you from drops and spills. But these perks may not be available in some regions.
