Last year’s Chromebook Duet was a huge hit with its MediaTek processor and portability and now Lenovo has announced its sibling that brings a larger 13.3-inch OLED touch-screen panel along with Qualcomm’s 2nd-generation Snapdragon 7c chipset. Starting from $429, the 2-in-1 Chromebook Duet 5 will go on sale in the US during October.
With Google’s Chrome OS on board that brings the power of the Play Store with it, the Chromebook Duet 5 offers a premium experience for a reasonable price. The addition of the larger 13.3-inch FHD touch-screen display with OLED technology takes it a step beyond similarly-priced Chromebooks, while the Snapdragon 7c chipset promises up to 15 hours of usage on a single charge.
As with the smaller Duet, the Chromebook Duet 5 is a 2-in-1 convertible which means it can be used as a laptop or as a Chrome OS tablet. It comes with a detachable keyboard and a rear pad that sports a built-in kickstand for when it’s used as a laptop replacement, which is much more plausible now thanks to the full-size keyboard and trackpad.

Going on sale in the US from October priced from a reasonable $429 in Abyss Blue and Storm Grey, Lenovo could well have another hit on its hands with the Chromebook Duet 5.
