Summary
- Logitech quietly raises prices by up to 25%, apparently due to US trade tariffs on Chinese goods.
- About 51% of Logitech products have seen price hikes, averaging a 14% increase.
- Most Logitech products are made in China, so more price adjustments may follow due to ongoing trade policy changes.
We warned you that due to the tariffs being imposed by the United States, you should expect price hikes for everything everywhere. Now, Logitech is the latest big company forced to increase its prices for mysterious reasons absolutely no one knows.
Logitech appears to have quietly implemented substantial price increases across a large portion of its product catalog. When you go to Logitech’s website, you can spy price jumps of up to 25% on some items. The company hasn’t announced these price changes, but you can easily figure out that this is probably a direct consequence of ongoing tariffs affecting goods imported from China—a lot of Logitech products are made in China, at the company’s main manufacturing facility in Suzhou, Jiangsu, so they are subject to tariffs. A lot of other companies are implementing similar price hikes on their products, and Logitech is just the latest one to do so.
The price adjustments (which, again, have not been announced by the Swiss-American manufacturer), were initially highlighted by tech YouTuber Cameron Dougherty. An analysis suggests that approximately 51% of Logitech’s diverse product range, spanning mice, keyboards, webcams, and gaming accessories, has seen a price revision. The average increase across these affected products is reported to be around 14%, but it’s as high as 25% on some products. A 14% average isn’t that bad compared with some of the price hikes we’ve seen—products like the OnePlus Watch 3, also made in China, have seen a price hike as high as 50%, which is simply wild. But an increase is an increase nonetheless.

You can’t buy any laptops on the website right now if you live in the U.S.
As for some of the products that have seen a price hike, the MX Master 3S wireless mouse now retails for $119.99 on Logitech’s official website, a $20 increase from its previous $99.99 price or roughly a 20% increase. Similarly, the Pro X TKL gaming keyboard has seen its price rise from $199.99 to $219.99. Even budget-friendly options haven’t escaped the adjustments; the K400 Plus Wireless Touch keyboard experienced a $7 increase, moving from $27.99 to $34.99—despite looking like a small increase, it’s actually one of the steepest percentage increases at 25%. High-end gaming gear also saw significant jumps, with the Pro Racing Wheel setup increasing by $200 to a new price of $1,200.
The price increases are not universal across Logitech’s entire lineup, and some products are not going to see a price increase, at least for the time being—Logitech had previously said that all of its manufacturing is in China, though this could’ve perfectly changed over the course of the last few years as a lot of companies have also sought outsourcing to other countries. That doesn’t mean that unaffected products won’t see a price increase soon, especially with how volatile the current US trade policy is—these products might not be seeing a price increase right now either because Logitech can swallow the cost on them or because they have enough of a stock surplus in the US to not have to increase the price for a while.
There is a silver lining, and it’s the fact that retailers like Amazon might still have the old prices for the time being. But expect to see these kinds of news from a lot of your favorite tech companies over the coming months. I don’t love writing these, but it’s the reality we’re living in.
