A new beta for macOS Sequoia 15.2 is rolling out now to developers. Beta 3 brings the latest revisions and improvements to Mac users ahead of the public 15.2 launch next month.
So far in the macOS 15.2 beta cycle, we’ve seen a variety of new features added.
There may be more additions still coming in today’s beta 3 update, and we’ll keep you posted on everything we find.
Apple still has several weeks to ship bug fixes and performance improvements before macOS 15.2’s December release, so some changes today are likely. However, with future betas we’ll start to see any noteworthy revisions be harder to find.
MIA Apple Intelligence features
After macOS 15.2 and iOS 18.2 ship, the vast majority of Apple’s announced AI features will have been released.
Here’s what’s still to come at a later date:
- Genmoji support on the Mac (it’s on iPhone and iPad in 18.2)
- priority notifications
- upgrades to Siri that enable personal context awareness, on-screen awareness, and new in-app and cross-app actions
A lot has been said about Apple not shipping its AI features in time for the iPhone 16’s launch. Still, I find it impressive that nearly all of the big Apple Intelligence features will have arrived by December. And that Apple keeps adding some nice non-AI enhancements too.
