Manual Transmission for 2022 Ford Bronco Sasquatch Confirmed

An order guide for the 2022 Ford Bronco confirms that the Sasquatch off-road package will be available with a manual transmission.

Ford had already indicated it would listen to consumer demand and give three-pedal fans the option of rowing their own, but now it’s official.

It’s coming even with the Bronco’s well-covered production delays and the supply issues that have been caused by the semiconductor-chip shortage and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ford could’ve easily pushed the manual Sasquatch back to 2023, given all that.

Of course, you still have to choose the base four-cylinder engine if you want to shift for yourself. That’s not changing.

What is changing, for the Bronco generally and not necessarily Sasquatch specifically, are the paint color choices. Hot Pepper Red and Eruption Green are added, and Antimatter Blue, Lightning Blue, and Rapid Red metallic tinted clearcoat are removed. That last is a bummer, as this author likes that color on Ford products.

There appear to be small price increases, depending on trim, around $250 or so.

Now you can have your ‘Squatch and shift it too.
