Marshall, the audio pioneer known for its amplifiers, cabinets, and effects pedals, is entering the home audio space. The brand’s first soundbar, the Marshall Heston 120, brings over 60 years of legendary sound to your living room, with a familiar design and those iconic gold dial knobs.
While the company is well-recognized in the music space and even offers some quality wireless earbuds and portable Bluetooth speakers, this is its first consumer home theater audio device. If you’re looking to bring big concert sound into your space, you’ll want to check out Marshall’s all-new Heston 120 soundbar.
The Marshall Heston 120 Soundbar will be available starting June 3rd for $999. So, what do you get for that steep price tag? Well, like any premium soundbar, it promises rich immersive sound, powerful bass, a stylish design, a slew of ports, and popular music services like Spotify and Tidal built in.
The company says its first sounbar will deliver an exceptional experience with rich sound filling any room. Here are a few of the highlights:
- Immersive Sound for Movies & Music: Dolby Atmos places you directly inside the action, pushing audio out into the room for magnificent, three-dimensional sound. Surround yourself with signature Marshall audio and feel every note.
- Powerful Bass: Tuned for low frequencies, the Heston 120 delivers deep, rich, and clear sound, producing lifelike audio and special effects with even greater impact. Feel the bass rumble from below like never before.
- Multi Wireless Connectivity: No matter how you want to connect, the Heston 120 has you covered. Stream over Wi-Fi with Google Cast, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, or Tidal Connect, or use Bluetooth with the latest LE Audio technology, including AuracastTM, to cue up your playlist. Once connected, just sit back and let the room fill with sound.
- Sound Modes: Choose the perfect setting for every moment. Movie Mode amplifies drama and effects; Music Mode unleashes pure audio power; Voice Mode sharpens dialogue; and Night Mode keeps the action crisp and clear without waking the house.
- Tactile Controls: Make room for a living room centerpiece inspired by the iconic design of Marshall amps. With our signature knobs, you can easily adjust audio for movies and music, fine-tune bass and treble, switch sources, and access presets. These one-of-a-kind controls put everything you want right at your fingertips.
Marshall went with the same familiar design as its amps, which any musician will appreciate. The Heston 120 features a sleek black frame, gold accents, and naturally, gold control knobs to adjust the volume, bass, and treble for the perfect sound. You’ll also find easy pairing buttons and more up top.
Around the back, you’ll find the usual array of input/output ports for a soundbar, including Ethernet, two HDMI (one eARC), USB-C, RCA inputs, power, and a sub output. Then, with the companion Marshall app, owners can manually control everything with EQ adjustment and channel tweaks or calibrate the sound to fit any room. Unleash premium sound for both music and movies.
The Marshall Heston 120 Soundbar launches today and will be available on the Marshall website starting June 3rd for $999.
