Along with the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung’s Unpacked event also saw the launch of the Galaxy Buds Pro wireless earbuds that eschew the bean design that debuted on the Buds Live. The Galaxy Buds Pro are already available to buy on Samsung’s website for $199, although if you buy the Galaxy S21 Ultra before January 28th you’ll get a pair bundled in as a reward.
Samsung’s new Buds can recognize when you are having a conversation and reduce the music level while amplifying surrounding sound. Automatically, which means it should be a seamless experience. The intelligent Active Noise Cancelation can reduce background noise by up to 99% and thanks to Ambient Sound you can amplify nearby sounds by more than 20 decibels.
The ability to automatically switch from being connected to your Galaxy Tab S7 to your new Galaxy S21 so you can take a call and then switch back when you are finished talking is a feature that sounds really great, and one that Google should integrate into Android as a whole.
Worried about losing losing an Earbud? Dont, because SmartThings can locate either earbud even is they are out of Bluetooth range or out of sight, giving you the rough location of where the lost earbud was last detected.
