The R&D Verification Centre of Membrane Solutions New Material Technology has passed its CNAS laboratory on-site review.
The China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) sent an audit team to inspect the R&D Verification Centre of Membrane Solutions New Material Technology.
The two-day comprehensive review and assessment included looking at personnel qualifications, laboratory environmental conditions, equipment, and facilities. Records and documents were also comprehensively reviewed and it was finally unanimously confirmed that the laboratory operation complied with the requirements of accreditation rules and criteria.
A total of 37 parameters were recognised in two categories, including:
- Microorganisms: sporulation test (NSP P231), sterilisation test (NSP P231), bacterial retention (ASTM F 838- 20), bacterial endotoxin (Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China 2020 edition), total bacterial colony count (GB/T 5750.12)
- Physical and chemical categories: pure water permeability, cutting molecular weight (GB/T 32360-2015), bubble point pressure ( ASTM F 316-03), metal elements in drinking water, total organic carbon in drinking water, non-volatile solid residues, etc.
Reviewing Site
The experts of the review team fully recognised the testing environment, instruments and equipment, operating methods, personnel capabilities and other aspects of the test centre, and believed that all aspects met the requirements of relevant standards.
In particular, the physical and chemical team’s accuracy in blind sample testing was very high, and the accuracy of blind sample testing was very high. The capabilities were confirmed, and suggestions for improvements were made for the found non-conformities.
As the New Year bell rings in 2024, the on-site review of the Membrane Solutions Experimental Centre was successfully passed, marking that the MS Experimental Center has established a complete laboratory quality management system and has nationally recognised testing capabilities for reliability experiments.
Being able to operate effectively in accordance with CNAS standards and possessing the technical capabilities to carry out testing services in accordance with corresponding accreditation standards will surely help the company blossom in the new year.
About MS R&D Validation Centre
The laboratory of Membrane Solutions R&D Validation Centre was established in 2022. The laboratory covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters and currently has more than 100 sets (sets) of various experimental equipment.
The verification central laboratory has summarised and integrated various management systems and technical requirements of the laboratory in accordance with the requirements of CNAS-CL01:2018 “Criteria for Accreditation of Capacity of Testing and Calibration Laboratories” and established a complete laboratory management system. The laboratory has professional testing and verification capabilities: testing capabilities for chemical and microbiological projects in life sciences, semiconductors, drinking water, ultra-filtration, etc.
