Microsoft will hold an education event today, November 9, 2021. It kicks off at 9 AM PT (12 PM ET) and will show off the latest tech in the education sector. Not much is known about the education event, but its page on Microsoft’s website includes a brief description.
“Join us at 9 a.m. PT on Tuesday, Nov. 9, as we share an inside look at the latest tech solutions while examining gaps in learning left by the pandemic,” states the page. “Hear from Microsoft partners, school leaders and a few special guests, and learn about new and existing technology from Microsoft Education.”
Below the description is an embed to watch the event live. There’s a chance that the event will also appear on the Microsoft Education YouTube channel, though there isn’t any indication of a livestream through YouTube. We’ll embed the stream here as soon as it becomes available.
Microsoft has remained tight-lipped about any news or announcements planned for the event. There could be hardware or software announcements made during the stream.
There haven’t been any major hardware announcements related to education from Microsoft since April 2021. At that time, the Microsoft Classroom Pen 2 was unveiled.
On the non-education side of things, Microsoft announced several Surface devices in September 2021, including the Surface Laptop Studio, the Surface Pro 8, and the Surface Go 3.
