In the earliest days of modern smartphones, Blackberry was a massive player. One thing that made the company’s devices instantly recognizable was the physical QWERTY keyboards that each model came with. That energy was carried over into a few of the earlier Android devices, but before long, everyone went full touch.
For some of us, QWERTY was the fastest and most reliable way to type on a smartphone, but for the longest time, there were simply no major and modern smartphone options to pick if you wanted that experience back. This is where Clicks comes in, without making you compromise your flagship performance.
The Clicks Keyboard Case Is About to Be Available for Several Android Models
If you use your phone for work often, whether typing up emails, drafting content, or doing your homework, I think most people will agree that the QWERTY keyboard is simply the more reliable option. I can speak for myself, but I type a lot faster on a physical keyboard than on a touch one, and if not for the fact that I do most of my work on my computer anyway, I’d have wept about the death of the physical phone keyboard.
Not everyone wants a physical keyboard on their phones though, especially as it ruins the aesthetic. This is why we’re grateful for the luxury of choice. You’re soon going to have the option to add a QWERTY keyboard to popular Android smartphones, thanks to the people over at Clicks.
Clicks specializes in keyboard cases for smartphones. While they started off with exclusivity for Apple models, the manufacturer is about to share the love with those of us on the Android side of life. These keyboards will make your phone longer than normal, obviously, but for many, that’s not going to make this accessory any less desirable. Let us know in the comments whether you’ll be pre-ordering Clicks’ keyboard case.
Which Android Devices Are Supported?
Pre-orders for the Clicks keyboard case for Android smartphones commence today, but the Android portfolio is relatively limited, so you’ll need to make sure that your device is on the list before you get too excited.
Unsurprisingly, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is one of the supported models. However, that’s literally the end of Clicks’ Samsung support. The S25+ and S25 Ultra are not included. If you have a Google Pixel, then only the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are going to have case options. Finally, if you have the Motorola Razr+ (2024), you’re in luckāplus, Clicks says the same case will also work with the regular Razr (2024) as well.
Depending on the model you choose, they’ll ship out as early as April and as late as June. Also, keep in mind that you can take advantage of early bird pricing if you make your purchase before March 21st. The cases will only cost you $99 before then but will go to a regular price of $139 after that date. Plus, with the Razr and Galaxy models, you only need to pay $49 to reserve the phone.
