Mobvoi is gearing up to announce the TicWatch 3 Pro Ultra and a couple of other wearables

While we wait for news on when Mobvoi will be able to roll out the Wear OS 3 update to its TicWatch E3 and 3 Pro smartwatches, it seems that the brand is preparing a couple of new wearables. One of these is said to be the successor to 2020’s TicWatch 3 Pro with the smooth-sounding moniker of TicWatch 3 Pro ‘Ultra’.

While the TicWatch 3 Pro Ultra will be Mobvoi’s flagship smartwatch, it would appear that upgrades will consist of being bumped up to using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset instead of the plain old Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform.

The other wearables being prepped are the TicWatch GTH+ and the GTH Pro, which appear to be slightly updated versions of the TicWatch GTH that launched back in April of this year. According to a teardown of the Mobvoi app, a new sensor called “Heart Health Sensor” that has been produced with CardieX could be present on the GTH Pro that could determine the biological age of your heart.

There’s no official launch date but it’s thought that Mobvoi is lining up the new wearables for early 2022. The big question is whether we’ll see the TicWatch 3 Pro Ultra launch running on Wear OS 3 or Wear OS 2.
