Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is rated M for Mature – Now on the Play Store

Packing its own exclusive storyline and featuring most of the characters we either love or love to hate, Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is now available to download on the Google Play Store. This one is rated M for Mature which means that it’s both targeted at age groups that are 17 and will feature loads of bloody action scenes.

Mortal Kombat: Onslaught gives the player the ability to build a team with upgradeable skills and moves, with the storyline centered on Shinnok’s bid to regain his power by gathering relics from across the realm. Naturally Raiden needs the player’s help to build a team of fighters to vanquish the evil villain. The studio says that players can expect high-quality graphics, cinematic cutscenes, and ‘bone-krushing’ combat.

Mortal Kombat: Onslaught features a diverse roster of iconic characters including veterans like Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Kitana – as well as rare, fan-favorite variants of klassic kombatants like Cyrax and Smoke. Players must collect and choose from a massive catalogue of Assassins, Warriors, Snipers and Defenders – each with their own unique Special Moves, Affinities and Passive Skills.

Game modes include a PVP arena where you can fight other players from across the world, massive RPG battles, and team combat where you can fight in teams.

Something to remember is that although Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is free to download, there are In-App-Purchases available from within the game that cost anywhere from $0.99 to $99. So remember to switch payment authentication on if you are lending the device to someone else to play on.
