Need A New Phone? October’s Prime Day Might Be Worth The Wait

Amazon is the biggest e-retailer in the world for a reason. Sure, they were in the right place at the right time, and certainly made the right moves to get there. But, over the years, they’ve cemented that position by giving consumers more than enough reasons to stick by them through it.

Amazon Prime is one of those reasons, if not for the faster delivery that you get alone. However, Prime comes with a lot of additional perks, one of which is Prime Day, giving Prime subscribers access to tons of exclusive deals. We had a Prime Day in July already, but Amazon is lining another one up for next month.

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days Will Be Here On October 8th And 9th

Electronics can be expensive. I don’t have a car, so of the three most expensive things I own, two are electronics. I sure would have liked to be able to get a deal on my gadgets before I pulled the trigger, but there weren’t any available. Everyone loves a good deal after all. Amazon runs limited-time deals pretty randomly throughout the year, but it’s hard to anticipate when most of them are going to come.

The story is a bit different for Amazon’s bigger platform-wide sales though, like Prime Day. Prime Day happened over two days back in July and I know a lot of people who took proper advantage of that. The good thing is, even if you missed that one, you don’t need to wait until Black Friday for the next set of big savings. Amazon is having another Prime Day of a sort, called Prime Big Deal Days.

Prime Big Deal Days will take place on October 8th and October 9th, and the company is going to offer deals across a wide range of products. Of course, you’re going to have to be an Amazon Prime subscriber if you want to take advantage of what will be on sale. Fortunately, Prime costs just $14.99 a month, so if you’re a big Amazon shopper, it’s worth it.

Prime Big Deal Days Will Offer Big Discounts On Electronics, So Maybe Wait To Buy That Phone

Pretty much everything that you can think of buying on Amazon will likely have a sale in its category (especially Amazon’s own devices), but electronics are where you can find truly meaningful savings since they tend to be so expensive on a regular day.

If you’ve been on the market for a brand-new smartphone or some kind of smartphone accessory, you might be tempted to pull the trigger right away, but let me be the angel on your shoulder to try and get you to wait three weeks for Prime Big Deals Day to arrive. Amazon has confirmed that Samsung is one of the brands that is going to offer “exciting savings” when the days come.

Three weeks is a long enough time to get your wallet primed (yes, pun intended) for Prime Big Deals Day. We’ll be sure to show you some of the best smartphone deals available when the day comes.
