After taking in Tom Brady’s account of his championship runs in the Man in the Arena series on ESPN+, Patriots fans will soon have a new series to binge and relive the two-decade run of dominance across the NFL.
On Tuesday, the Patriots and Apple announced the order of “The Dynasty,” an upcoming documentary chronicling New England’s historic path to six championships. The series is based on the 2020 book The Dynasty by Jeff Benedict, which lays the basis for the series.
“With unprecedented access to the New England Patriots, Benedict spent two years inside the organization, and chronicled the rise and historic 20-year run of the Patriots during the Brady-Belichick-Kraft era,” Apple said in a press release.
The documentary also leads into the current times, following New England throughout the 2021 season, which featured rookie first-round quarterback Mac Jones starting every game.
“The filmmakers have also been given access to the organization during the 2021 season and are conducting hundreds of interviews with past and present Patriots players, coaches and executives, along with league officials and the arch rivals of the most dominant sports dynasty of the 21st century,” Apple added in the statement.
The 10-part series does not have a release date at this time. When it does, Patriots fans will add yet another film to the collection to celebrate the remarkable run of the past with new insight and stories waiting to be told.
