Well, Razer’s heard your cries of anguish and now has its own Razer Smart Home app, which hopes to do right by you in the smart home space. With this app, you’ll be able to control everything (in concept) all from one place, so those smart bulbs and various bits of RGB-infused hardware around your house no longer necessitate exclusive attention. Sync your smart home gadgetry from one place and be done with them, no additional headaches required.
“Razer Chroma RGB has been a fan-favorite since its inception, and today Razer marries technology and functionality in the Razer Smart Home App, enabling users with complete creative control over their environment,” said Alvin Cheung, Senior Vice President of Razer’s Hardware Business Unit.
But Razer’s not content to settle for the compatibilities its app already has. That’s why it’s issued an open invitation for smart-home-friendly hardware partners to get in on its new app so that going forward, the company’s Smart Home interface can truly be the default choice for easy smart device control.
This app is just one of the many things Razer is promoting at CES 2022, with other big reveals including the latest Blade laptop refreshes and a fancy desk PC. Yes, not a desktop, but a literal desk.
