After Only One Year, Intel Gives Up On Bitcoin-Mining Chips
Intel has announced the end of life of its first-gen Blockscale 1000-series chips, citing its tighter focus on its IDM 2.0 operations. Intel’s cost-cutting spree has included the sale of its server-building business, the killing of its networking switch business, and the winding down of its Optane Memory production.
