Balaji Srinivasan Bets $1M on Bitcoin Hitting $1M Within 90 Days Due to US Hyperinflation
Balaji Srinivasan, former Coinbase CTO, has made a bet of 1 BTC and $1 million in USD Coin (USDC) with James Medlock on whether the US will experience hyperinflation. The terms of the bet are that if Bitcoin’s price fails to reach $1 million by June 17, Medlock will win the bet, and if it does, Srinivasan will keep the 1 BTC and the $1 million in USDC. Srinivasan has also moved $2 million in USDC for another wager on the same topic.
