Can’t believe they are dropping it. I buy Black finished one every year since AW4. Love finish so much more than SS. I beat the crap out of mine wearing at work unloading trucks and never ever got a mark on one. I had a SS black before they went to graphite also was mark free both from the excellent finish and better crystal glass.
Apple has the numbers and I suspect that’s all this is a numbers move trying to get some of these buyers to new Pro one but 45mm is max for my wrists so I’m forced into SS.
I usually sell mine around now each year and get $500-$550 also transferring the balance of 3 year AC+ to new owner. This year nope I’ll hold off as I’m hoping Apple brings it back. If not I guess it’s back to a noticeably heavier watch 😩.
