September 27th – BLOOMINGTON, Ind.  — National sweet wine player Oliver Winery, now the 28th largest wine operation in the U.S., is bringing back its award-winning Apple Pie wine this month.

Featuring tart, crisp apple and soft vanilla, notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, and an a la mode finish, Oliver Apple Pie is a fresh-pressed, 100% apple wine (no concentrates) with 8.3% ABV. Apple Pie, originally a limited-time fall offering, has sold out every year since 2016. With this season’s release, Apple Pie and fellow bakery-inspired Peach Pie, will be available on store shelves year-round.

“Apple Pie has garnered quite the following and continues to delight consumers,” said Julie Adams, CEO at Oliver Winery. “It’s just one example of thinking differently about wine while staying true to Oliver’s signature fruit-forward winemaking style.”

“Oliver is known for its innovative, award-winning wines, and Apple Pie is no exception. The experience is unreal – like pouring yourself a slice of pie,” said Sarah Anderson, Director of Marketing at Oliver Winery. “Apple Pie has quickly become a holiday staple. It is a perfect guilt-free indulgence, crafted with all natural flavors and crisp, fresh-pressed apple wine.”

An award-winning favorite, Apple Pie was awarded Gold, Reserve Class Champion at the 2019 Rodeo Uncorked!® International Wine Competition, as well as Best of Class & Gold at the 2017 Indy International Wine Competition and Double Gold at the Indiana State Fair. In 2021, the winery sold more than 20,000 cases, a 17% increase over 2019.

Oliver Apple Pie is available in stores across the country and via the winery’s online shop in over 40 states.
