OnePlus Has A Smartphone And A Tablet Coming For Us On July 16th
Next week, OnePlus has two mobile devices slated for launch. One is going to be the OnePlus Nord 4 while the other is the OnePlus Pad 2. While we know a little bit about each of these devices, OnePlus has officially let us in on even more details.
For the OnePlus Nord, in addition to the fact that we know it is going to be one of the first metal unibody devices in a very long time — according to OnePlus, the only metal unibody phone of the 5G era — we also know that it is going to be the slimmest Nord device ever, at 7.99mm thick. Of course, there’s some unofficial info in the form of leaked specs, such as a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and a 5,500 mAh battery.
The sequel to the excellent value OnePlus Pad is coming in the form of the OnePlus Pad, adding one more member to the company’s tablet portfolio. OnePlus has confirmed that it will have a bigger 12.1-inch display with a 7:5 aspect ratio. They say it will have an “industry-leading chipset”, which aligns with the rumors that it’ll be the first tablet to rock the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The Company Is Also Planning To Unveil Accessories: A Smartwatch And Earbuds
Besides the actual mobile devices, OnePlus’ launch event in Milan is also going to bring the OnePlus Watch 2R and Nord Buds 3 Pro to the world.
The OnePlus Watch 2R, based on its nomenclature, might not be a full-blown successor to the Watch 2, and instead, a slightly underpowered version — doing what the R in the OnePlus 12R does in comparison to the regular 12 model. It will have the Dual-Engine Architecture of the OnePlus Watch 2, which was mostly responsible for the 100-hour battery life that one was able to achieve. It’ll also have a dual-frequency GPS and an aluminum build.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro will be the next top pair of earbuds from the company’s mid-range audio selection. We know they’ll have a sizable 12.4mm driver, Starry Black and Soft Jade colorways, and improved performance when it comes to reproducing low- and high-end frequencies. It will also support up to 49 dB of noise cancelation.
