Swiftblade
Primary Role: DPS
Swiftblade is an assassin-type character that specializes in dealing high damage in exchange for limited survivability. She’s also very mobile, which allows her to evade aggro exceedingly well, which somewhat offsets her squishiness.
A Swiftblade’s Class-exclusive skill, Blade Aura, is activated whenever she uses her skill and gives her an additional ranged attack (Knife Throw), so if you’re planning on using her, remember to spam your skills as often as you can!
Slayer
Primary Role: Tank
Despite the lack of a shield in the character design, Slayer can be considered the “tank” Order Daybreak class and is more suited to protecting allies via taunts and survivability buffs rather than dealing damage outright, though they do have decent damage.
Slayer has the Rage Class-exclusive skill, which upon activation changes his skill kit entirely and increases his overall DPS output and survivability, temporarily making him the ideal bruiser-type damage dealer for the duration of the skill.
Gunslinger
Primary Role: DPS
The Gunslinger class is for those who are willing to invest in a pure damage dealer who has even less survivability than the Swiftblade class but has even more DPS potential.
Do note that you can somewhat get around the Gunslinger’s lack of survivability, as Gunslingers can move while attacking. This makes it easier to manage aggro and dodge attacks!
The Gunslinger’s AP Shell Class-exclusive skill, like most of the skills in her kit, improves her overall DPS by enhancing her basic attacks. With it, you become an absolute powerhouse even without fully utilizing your skills!
Seer
The Seer class offers only decent damage in exchange for the ability to support her allies via buffs and heals. Not only that, but she can also summon creatures to fight for her, thus letting them take on the aggro and allow the Seer to focus on dealing damage or supporting her allies from the back.
The Seer’s Class-exclusive skill is Seer Power, which enhances the effects of her skills. This enhancement effect extends to the buffs and heals she can provide to her team.
Best Order Daybreak Classes (What Class to Pick)
If you’re looking to play the best Order Daybreak class, then your choices will be limited to either the Gunslinger or the Swiftblade, as they have the most DPS potential out of all the classes in the game.
Moreover, both Gunslinger and Swiftblade are also ranged classes (Swiftblade occasionally is given her Class-exclusive skill) with great mobility, which makes up for them being less tanky as long as you know how to manage enemy aggro and are skilled enough to avoid telegraphed attacks.
If you want to deal the highest possible damage in every battle you’re in, then pick Gunslinger. Pick Swiftblade instead if you want a bit more survivability than the Gunslinger class, though do note that they have less DPS.
Can You Have Multiple Classes in Order Daybreak?
With the best Order Daybreak classes covered, how about switching classes? Can you do it?
Unfortunately no, as there is currently no way to change your character’s class in Order Daybreak save from creating another character and swapping to their slot, as shown in the images above.
Additionally, all Order Daybreak classes are gender-locked. Choose your character’s class per your preference, as you cannot change classes later.
