PHOTO REPORT: Universal Orlando Resort 7/3/22 (Toffee Apple Ice Cream, Very Low Crowds, A Ride on the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride, and More)

Greetings from the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s another quiet day here in the parks, so let’s make the best of it! First stop of the day is to Universal Studios Florida.

We really didn’t want to get our hopes up, but it has been super slow this weekend. As we arrived at the park at opening, there weren’t very many people around.

It’s a ghost town inside Starbucks. This is rare. Time to caffeinate for the day!

The Starbucks Team Members looked adorable this morning.

Time to wander around and enjoy this coffee. The weather is great and the crowds are perfect.

It might be time to get some ice cream.

Not all heroes wear capes.

We have a ton of favorite ice creams from Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour in Diagon Alley, but we still haven’t tried them all. Toffee Apple was one of the few we had never experience and it was life changing. This might be our new favorite soft serve flavor.

Zoltar is out of order inside the Monsters Tribute Store. You would have thought he could have predicted that.

The Hogwarts Express was a walk on, so we hopped a ride over to Islands of Adventure.

Incredibly quiet over here! It’s also incredibly hot and there’s a chance of rain later. If you think it might storm in the afternoon, we suggest you do outdoor rides early in the day and plan to do the inside rides during the bad weather.

The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train ride had a 10 minute wait, but it was almost a walk on.

You can’t beat the views from this ride. A lot of people pass by and skip it, but it’s actually a really great attraction in Seuss Landing.

It’s easy to get around the parks quickly when the crowds are this low.

Blue’s Churro Bites are back on the menu again at Natural Selections in Jurassic Park.

The signs on the walls in Thunder Falls Terrace as so fun. We decided to stop in for lunch today.

We miss the jackfruit sandwich from Monsters Cafe, so we decided to get a jackfruit rice bowl for lunch. Read our full review here.

That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us today and be sure to stay tuned for more updates!
