Poco F6 Pro Details Leak Confirm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Inside

In terms of benchmarking scores, the Poco F6 Pro achieved 1,421 points in the single-core test and 5,166 points in the multi-core test. As previously rumored to rock the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, these numbers are actually a tad bit different from actual phone model benchmarks. The single-core is slightly lower, while the multi-score is actually somewhat higher.

Nonetheless, the values don’t seem to be really that different enough to change the previous estimates, and so the current “Redmi K70 relaunch” predictions remain. Besides, any deviations in the preliminary scores could easily be attributed to the test unit’s pre-release software, which could be markedly different from the final retail version.

Besides, with its core configuration, 16GB overkill RAM, and premium-tier FCC filing, the Geekbench score probably just confirmed the rumors even more.

Aside from the powerful chipset, the Poco F6 Pro is expected to boast an array of impressive specifications, supposedly to reflect more or less the same specs as the China-exclusive Redmi K70.

For example, leaks suggest that the device will feature a 6.67-inch 1440p 120Hz OLED display. The camera is rumored to be configured with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 16MP front-facing camera as well. It is even speculated to max out at 1TB for its storage variants.

Additionally, the Poco F6 Pro is expected to pack a large 5,000mAh battery, with support for 120W fast wired charging for quick and convenient top-ups.

While the Poco F6 Pro is the focus of our discussion, the standard Poco F6 (non-Pro), is also getting similar attention. The Poco F6 is expected to be powered by the newer Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which is the updated 2024 analog of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that uses some Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 features.

The Poco F6 is also likely to be a relaunch of yet another China-exclusive Xiaomi model, this time the Redmi Turbo 3, as hinted by their shared model number (24069PC21G). However, specific details are more scant for this model, as features and specifications are still yet to be officially unveiled.
