What Users Love About the App

“The app is super convenient to identify my current emotions. I like being able to have a wide variety of choices to describe what I’m feeling.”

“Mood meter had been wonderful in helping me identify my emotions. It offers great alternatives and suggestions when you are in need of a mood shift. App runs seamlessly. Highly recommend.”

“Great and helpful app. I’m a person with very low emotional intelligence/ awareness. It helps me identify and label my feelings and emotions.”

“Really great to help with being more mindful throughout the day but also great for helping to teach my little ones about emotions and understanding feelings. They really like to think about it and plot where they are on the meter.”

“For such a low price I’ve found an easy-to-use mood tracking app that allows me to keep track of times and mood levels and helps me put names to my emotions and that alone makes them feel more manageable.”

What Users Dislike About the App

The “shift your mood” button gives shallow, unhelpful advice. I can’t ‘watch a funny movie’ if I’m stressed because of a tight schedule. The alternative is to tell the app I ‘want to stay in a bad mood, which isn’t ever true. Maybe add a “skip” option?”

“I haven’t used it since I purchased it a month ago, but it randomly interrupts things I’m doing on my phone to tell me the app isn’t responding. Also not enough moods to choose from. Doesn’t really do anything to help label your emotions.”

“DON’T PURCHASE THIS APP!!! First of all, it’s barely a prototype let alone a fully developed and functional app. Secondly, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF. I’ve tried for weeks to contact the developer to get a refund, and after repeatedly threatening to report these guys to Google and the FTC some smartass offered to write me a 99¢ check and mail it to me”

“Passcode would be nice as this is private info. Also, it keeps crashing on the first opening on Android phones. Now I have to keep logging in.”

“I loved the reminder of logging my emotions. It gave me a sense of mindfulness, which in consequence allowed me to be a better judge of my emotions. Also, I really liked the past reasons for feeling a certain way. Please, bring back those features!”
