Proscenic T31 Air Fryer Oven is smart device that allows you to cook a variety of meals with ease
Air Fryers have surged in popularity over the past few years, due to their convenience, reduced cooking time and allowing consumers to cook healthier recipes.
They come in all shapes and sizes, but the main choice one would have to make is whether they want a Basket Air Fryer or Air Fryer Oven.
Luckily both types will generally allow you to make the same types of food, so it usually comes down to the cosmetics, such as size, speed and cooking styles.
Most tech companies will offer both styles of Air Fryers and Proscenic is among them. Since 2013 the US tech company has endeavoured to create smart home appliances, such as air purifiers, cordless vacuum cleaners and more.
They have recently joined the Air Fryer market by releasing T21 and T22 which were met with praise. Looking to build upon that strong foundation, they have released their newest air frying oven, the T31.
Out of the box, the first glaring feature of the T31 is its large design which measures 41 cm x 39 cm x 34 cm, with the actual oven having a capacity for up to 15 litres.
The T31 will certainly take up a lot of kitchen space, however, this also means you will be able to cook a wider range of food with its three-level cooking space.
The control buttons are situated at the top of the air fryer, here you will find the 12 preset buttons, a knob that controls the time and temperature and a few more handy buttons such as pre-heat and keep warm.
This operation panel is easy to understand without referring to the manual, granting you full control. The T31 also comes with extra utensils which include a cooking tray, a drip pan and different rotisserie parts.
They are very straightforward to use and assemble. Having the different rotisserie utensils just meant I was able to cook a wider variety of food. The T31 is a hefty air fryer and will take up a lot of space however it makes up for it with the extra amount of food it can allow you to cook.
Like the majority of Proscenic’s products, the T31 comes with a companion app that allows you to remote control the air fryer.
The app may seem a little basic but its simplistic design just meant I could get cooking straight away.
The air fryer connected to the app very easily using my Wi-Fi connection. Having this app meant I could only control the air fryer and keep track of my food’s progress while being able to pause cooking and more.
Proscenic has done a great job at transferring all the air fryer’s controls to the app meaning I didn’t have to physically check up on it until the food was done.
The app also contains different recipes, giving you simple to follow instructions and once you press ‘Start Cooking’ it will cook the food at the right temperature, for the correct duration.
As I said, the app may appear very basic but its uncluttered and simple design was really welcoming and user-friendly.
Cooking food using the presets was very simple and the instruction manual had a guide for preset temperatures. I found that you would have to alter the time and temperature depending on the weight of the food, like cooking a standard 1.6kg chicken using the rotisserie would take about 45-50 mins.
But a 1.9kg chicken would need an extra 15 mins for completion. Other than that, Proscenic’s presets are pretty accurate with food tasting very nice and looking like it does in the pictures. I found cleaning the air fryer to be very straightforward, with all the cooking trays and rotisserie utensils being easy to take apart.

Proscenic’s T31 air fryer is a great choice if you are looking for something that will allow a variety of different foods to be cooked. It’s priced at £179 which is slightly pricer than air fryers that have the same capacity, but the app and smart controls make cooking food so much easier, especially the rotisserie function.
