Flower Pod Newark has been chosen as one of three local causes for Asda Newark’s online green token scheme.
The Flower Pod is one of charity Reach Learning Disability’s centres.
Centre manager Christine Daniels said: “Our clients love to sit outside and enjoy our garden as much as possible. Winning Asda Newark’s green token scheme would help us to fund materials to create a shaded, seating area for clients to benefit from, especially during the spring and summer when we can enjoy outdoor classes more often.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported our cause already — you can vote once every seven days, so put it in your calendar to vote each week for Flower Pod Newark.”
The cause with the most votes will be awarded £500.
