The tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) represents the next wave of innovation in the crypto landscape. Companies like Everlodge (ELDG) and Hedera (HBAR) are poised to make significant strides in this arena. Particularly of interest is Everlodge, which is currently in its presale phase and gearing up to make a notable impact in the $280 trillion real estate industry.

What is tokenization and why does it matter?

Tokenization refers to the process of converting an asset into a digital token.

Almost anything can be tokenized, from physical assets like real estate to financial instruments like stocks and bonds.

The idea behind tokenization is to make these assets more accessible, liquid, and tradable on a digital platform.

The main advantage of tokenization is that it allows for fractional ownership.

This means that investors can buy and hold small fractions of an asset, making it possible to diversify their portfolios with previously illiquid assets like real estate.

Everlodge spearheads tokenized real estate

Everlodge aims to democratize access to real estate investments through its blockchain-based platform. Here, properties are tokenized into non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and offered for sale on the platform.

So, why is Everlodge tokenizing the real estate industry? Well, it opens up opportunities for both buyers and sellers. While it allows investors to diversify their portfolios with previously out-of-reach physical assets, property owners can benefit from increased liquidity and access to a larger pool of potential buyers.

Investors no longer need to take out large loans or have millions of dollars in their bank accounts to invest in real estate. With Everlodge, anyone with $100 can own a fraction of a property and potentially earn passive income from rental yields.

The ELDG token is used to facilitate transactions on the Everlodge platform. It’s worth holding onto as it gives holders discounts on property transactions, staking rewards, free nightly stays in hotels and villas, and more as the platform grows.

The ELDG token is now available at $0.029 during the ninth presale round. Prices are up 190% from the token’s starting price of $0.010.

Industry analysts note that what Everlodge is doing has the potential to revolutionize the $280 trillion real estate industry. Accordingly, supporters say ELDG is set for more gains.

Hedera breaks barriers in asset tokenization

Hedera is a proof-of-stake public distributed ledger that uses a unique Hedera consensus algorithm (HCS) to achieve high throughput and low latency. Hedera has a governing council of leading global organizations, including Google, IBM, and LG Electronics.

Hedera mainly offers an SDK that institutions and governments can use to build stablecoin applications. Part of this SDK is the native tokenization API that allows organizations to create their own tokenized assets and manage them on the Hedera network.

Shayne Higdon, CEO of the HBAR Foundation, recently took to Twitter spaces to reveal that some of the largest organizations in the world are already integrating Hedera.

He also revealed that the most important thing to these organizations is the settlement cost, and Hedera is primed to provide cost-effective transactions compared to other networks.

Pricewise, Hedera has grown from $0.37 at the start of the year to a recent peak of $0.10, with a recent correction to today’s price of $0.0793. The $0.10 resistance is the line in the sand that Hedera needs to break for a full-blown bull run.

Hedera is built to service enterprise-scale tokenization, and with the backing of its distinguished council members, it is positioned to become a major player in this space.

Sidelined investors may want to track the adoption of Hedera and wait for a break above $0.10 before jumping in.

Summary

Real-world asset tokenization is gaining traction to enhance liquidity, transparency, and efficiency in traditional financial markets.

Everlodge leverages this technology to enable fractional ownership of real-world assets. At the same time, Hedera, with its robust network and partnerships, can become a crucial player in enterprise-scale tokenization.
