RedMagic’s Nova Gaming Tablet Launching Globally On Sept 27

September is starting to look promising for many gamers as Redmagic launches its latest gaming tablet. The Redmagic Nova brings serious heat (not literally) and is the only tablet out there rocking the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition chip.

With options up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage, the Nova is built to handle your heavy game choices without slowing down.

Redmagic Nova sets the standard for high-speed gaming

Gaming on Android Tablets hardly gives you the best experience. They just don’t pack the same punch as flagship phones, and particularly have poor optimization. So, when you find a good tablet, you’ll want to grab hold of it while you can. The Redmagic’s new Nova gaming tablet seems promising, and comes with a 10.9-inch 2.8K display. It also has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate.

But what you may appreciate more is the 840Hz instant sampling rate. It’s no secret that tablets are generally larger, which mostly means less responsive touch sensitivity compared to phones. Now, every touch registers almost instantly so that you can make those rapid jumping and firing or hacking combos in Battle Royale games. No one wants to buy an expensive tablet they’ll eventually fling and destroy in frustration.

In addition, the device has a long battery life of up to 19 hours, letting you game for about 10 hours on a single charge. It also charges fast, getting to 50% in just 15 minutes and fully charging in 45 minutes with its 120W flash charge.

Nova also houses a 9-layer cooling system to buy you the longest gaming time possible without overheating. Inside it is a high-speed 20,000 RPM fan that draws in cool air from outside, then pushes out hot air. There’s also the 3D heat pipe and internal circulation air duct working together to form a ventilation system. The heat pipe pulls heat away from the critical areas and distributes it evenly, while the air duct circulates the cool air inside the tablet.

Enjoy speed, memory, and design in one stylish tablet

In tests, the Nova tablet racked up an impressive Antutu score of 2,352,902 and uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition processor. It has a CPU speed of 3.4GHz and a 1GHz GPU, delivering high-quality graphics without lag or frame drops. Redmagic is also quite generous in the memory department. The base option you can get is 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. If you feel that’s not enough, go for the 16GB + 512GB or 24GB + 1TB options.

Aesthetically, the tablet is a stunner with a lens-grade aluminum silicon glass display that’s scratch-free and an aviation aluminum body. The frames are anti-slip, so it’s easier to hold on to your device for long periods. Plus, the RGB lights are customizable to your tastes.

Speaking of, Redmagic OS 9.5 on the Nova tablet hosts Mora, an intelligent system assistant that lets you use custom voice commands and supports various languages. Redmagic Cube AI is also there to boost your experience with smart triggers and audio-visual enhancements. You can even control games with motion sensing when you move your tablet around.

Gravity X Platform 2.0 will have you switching between handheld mode, connecting to bigger displays, or projecting your screen onto VR/AR headsets. It’s also compatible with gaming controllers and supports streaming from XBOX, Steam, PlayStation, and Epic.

When you’re not gaming, take pictures with the 20-megapixel front camera and 50-megapixel rear camera that delivers clear quality in photography, video calls, and content recording.

Redmagic Nova goes worldwide later this month

All three memory configurations of the Redmagic Nova are currently available in China. You can get them in the Cyclone and Snowfall colors. The 12GB+256GB costs 3,999 RMB, the 16GB+512GB model is priced at 4,499 RMB, and the 24GB+1TB model, which is available only in Snowfall, costs 5,599 RMB.
