Moreover, it is comfortable to use and the 30-hour-battery life is impressive. On top of this, the wireless connection suffers no latency problems and is easy to set up. Accordingly, if you want a new controller for your Switch this Christmas, you know this is a trouble-free option.
I’m not a gamer who uses rear buttons. My old-school mindset and muscle memory cannot grasp this gaming design. Yet, I like the rear mappable buttons on this device. They are well-designed, and using them doesn’t feel alien. What’s more, they can be adjusted on the fly with the touch of a button. This was great, as it improved versatility and usability.

Alongside this, it has a 2-year warranty for peace of mind. This is a limited warranty, so check the small print to ensure that you are covered.
Wireless gaming must be lag-free and easy to set up. Thankfully, the 5.0 Bluetooth technology delivers a seamless experience that doesn’t disappoint. The handy LED lighting highlights when the controller is connected and it stays illuminated to indicate the player linked to that device. Consequently, if you have multiple PowerA controllers, you know who is players 1, 2, 3, and so forth. On top of this, you’ll enjoy up to 30 hours plus wireless gaming. If your controller runs out of juice, you can simply plug it in with the 10-foot supplied cable and keep on gaming.
This gamepad can be connected whether the console is docked or undocked. However, it does not support HD rumble, IR or Amibo NFC. Subsequently, if you need any of those features, you’ll need to purchase an official Nintendo peripheral.
Build quality.
PowerA has never disappointed me. I have tested their Xbox and Switch controllers, and I’m always impressed. The hardened plastic shells are robust and the ergonomic design is ideal for lengthy gaming sessions. Moreover, the button layout is almost identical to its official counterpart. Consequently, there is no uncomfortable bedding in period.
The anti-friction rings enhance accuracy whilst reducing that horrible gritty movement you experience through other 3rd party manufacturers. Moreover, the well-placed rear buttons have a nice actuation distance if you want an elite edge to your gaming device.
Finally, the piece de resistance has to be the striking design! I love the vibrant colours and the attractive flower design. If you adore Pokemon, then this Pikachu-inspired gamepad will be right up your street. The Pokemon Blossom Nintendo Switch Controller has a pleasant split-coloured front and back plate and I adore the use of off-white and purple accents.
Is the Pokemon Blossom Nintendo Switch Controller worth it?
Though the Pokemon Blossom Nintendo Switch Controller doesn’t have every Nintendo feature built-in, I wasn’t too worried. I believe that the striking imagery and the comfortable ergonomic design make up for the missing features. What’s more, the mappable rear buttons and the easy-to-use Bluetooth connectivity are perfect for gamers who wish to add an elite edge while enjoying trouble-free gaming. These reasons alone are enough for me to recommend buying this wonderful controller here!
