Riot Games are headed to the Epic Games Store, as announced on Thursday. Riot Games, developer and publisher of many of the best PC games available, has long been exclusive to its own launchers, not using storefronts like Steam or the Epic Games Store.
“Riot Games is one of the world’s best developers and creators of groundbreaking entertainment franchises,” said Steve Allison, vice president and general manager of the Epic Games Store. “We’re excited they’ve chosen to partner with us to bring their titles to millions of new players through the Epic Games Store.”
Riot Games’ titles that are now available on the Epic Games Store include League of Legends, Valorant, Legends of Runeterra and Teamfight Tactics. Future PC titles will also likely be available when launched.
If you download of Riot Games’ free-to-play titles through the Epic Games Store, you’ll be prompted to downlaod the new Riot Client. Additionally, League of Legends Champion Jinx is headed to Fortnite as the latest crossover character in the ongoing multiplayer extravaganza. Jinx is available as part of a bundle starting on Nov. 4, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
