BTC Inc., which organizes the self-proclaimed “world’s largest Bitcoin conference” in Miami, has announced the first annual Sound Money Fest, a “Bitcoin music and arts festival,” on Saturday, April 9th, 2022.
Sound Money Fest (SMF) will serve as the final day of the conference devoted to the tentpole cryptocurrency and will span the combined campus of Miami Beach Convention Center and the adjacent Pride Park.
The festival’s two stages—the Satoshi Stage and the Nakamoto Stage, both named for supposed Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto—will feature headlining performances by Logic, Steve Aoki, K-Pop star CL, deadmau5, Run The Jewels, and San Holo. Other performers set to appear include Apashe, Asadi, DJ Equal, DJ Soda, K. Flay, MØ, Murda Beatz, PLS&TY, San Holo, Tokimonsta, and Royal and the Serpent.

According to a press release, “Sound Money Fest (SMF) will be a celebration of Bitcoin adoption and hyperbitcoinization bringing together the international community through music and revelry. As Bitcoin is for everyone, so too is Sound Money Fest and it is not exclusive to the Bitcoin community. Bitcoiners across the world do not fit into a single mold and neither do their musical tastes. As such, SMF will feature over 17 diverse performances across genres such as pop, hip-hop, k-pop and alternative music.” The event is also due to include art displays, a food truck area, stand-up comedians and more.
Sound Money Fest organizers also noted that all performers at Sound Money Fest will be paid in Bitcoin.
