Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Details Surface; S10 FE+ Upsizes Screen

Tablets sacrifice portability in favor of a much larger display, and for some people, that’s completely fine—for when you need a compact device, you use the device that can fit in your pocket. The bigger screen of a tablet makes it much better for entertainment, productivity, and even something as simple as browsing the web.

When it comes to Android tablets, it’s hard to say that any company is more notable than Samsung—especially if you’re talking about flagship tablets. The Tab FE devices are a budget offshoot from the OEM’s flagships, and the next set, the Tab S10 FE and the Tab S10 FE+, should be coming soon. Here’s our first insight into some of their specs.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Maintains Its Screen Size; The Tab S10 FE+ Gets Bigger

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 duo are two pretty incredible tablets. If you want a much bigger screen than what a smartphone or a foldable can give you, then that’s a good place to find yourself. However, one problem with flagship tablets is that they cost flagship prices. Some people aren’t averse to dropping some specs in order to get a device that’s a little more affordable. This is where the Tab S FE devices enter the arena.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series had the Tab S9 FE models last year, and those devices are about to get successors in the form of the Tab S10 FE and the Tab S10 FE+. Thanks to Roland Quandt on Bluesky, we have a little bit of detail regarding what we can expect from the tablets. First, let’s talk about the screens.

The Tab S10 FE is the smaller model and will stick with a 10.9-inch display. For full context, that’s the same as its predecessor, so we can expect it to be the exact same 1440p 90Hz IPS LCD unit. The Tab S10 FE+ sees a big change in its display diagonal, going from 12.4 inches to 13.1 inches. All the better for productivity.

The Tab S10 FE Will Be Available in the Same Max Storage Configuration

The only detail that Roland Quandt provided regarding the spec sheet has to do with storage and RAM, and things won’t change compared to the standings last year. We know that the maximum configuration for both devices will be 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There’s no word on what the base variant will be or whether the storage is UFS 4.0.

However, I’d think it is safe for us to assume that the device will still maintain its microSD slot for those who want a lot more than just 256GB of storage.

According to previous rumors, the tablet duo could use the same chipset that we expect to see in the Samsung Galaxy A56, the Exynos 1580. Both cameras could be upgraded to 12MP, up from 8MP in their predecessors. There’s little idea as to when we can expect the tablets to launch, but we’ll keep our ears open for any news and bring it you as fast as we can.
