Samsung is reportedly adding a built-in S Pen to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, but do you actually want it?

This year’s Galaxy S22 Ultra went a step further than its predecessor and came with an internal storage slot for the S Pen, now it’s being reported that Samsung could follow the same path for its next batch of Galaxy Z foldable smartphones. The question is, do you want S Pen functionality on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4, and would you actually make use of it?

The report (from The Elec via Joshua Swingle)says that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 will feature a built-in S Pen comes. It seems that Samsung has decided to include a built-in S Pen in order to show off the productivity chops of the new Fold and Flip handsets. The report goes on to say that we can also expect the Galaxy Z Fold 4 to feature smaller internal and external displays (7.56-inches and 6.19-inches) but with a similar design as its predecessor.

Coming back to the S Pen, Samsung is on a mission to add its functionality to more of its premium devices which now includes a Galaxy S handset for the very first time. The inclusion of the storage slot to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 chassis would mean a decrease in battery capacity unless Samsung manages to find some extra space somewhere.

So the big question is, will you actually use the S Pen if an internal slot is included on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4? Let us know in the comments below.
