After a much longer wait than anyone expected, Samsung is finally ready to send its highly anticipated Galaxy Android 15 (One UI 7) beta to more users. Today, Samsung expanded its One UI 7 beta to the older Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Tab S10.
Countless delays have plagued Samsung’s latest software update, which usually arrives between October and December. In early March, Samsung finally announced that the stable update to Android 15 for its phones would begin in April and several more devices would join the beta this month. As promised, we’re seeing precisely that for multiple models.
Last week, Samsung started pushing the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip beta release, and now those with the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, or Galaxy S23 Ultra can join the One UI 7 beta program. According to AndroidPolice, the Galaxy S23 Ultra Android 15 (One UI 7) ZYC3 firmware weighs 4.7GB and includes the March 2025 security patch. Those with smaller S23 models can expect something similar.
As mentioned above, this also includes Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. If you own one of those tablets, you can try the beta this week. Owners confirmed all these updates on Samsung’s support forums, Reddit, Twitter, and other sources. We can confirm it’s indeed hitting devices as we speak, as long as you’re signed up for the beta.

The big One UI 7 update should arrive in April.
Finally, devices other than the Galaxy S24 can try Samsung’s latest Android flavor. However, it’s important to remember that these are only beta builds. This is just the beginning, and Samsung will likely push several updates to devices in the coming weeks as it prepares the software for a stable worldwide release.
How to Join the One UI 7 Beta
After waiting far longer than anyone expected for the next version of Android on Galaxy phones, it’s understandable if you’re getting impatient and want to try the beta. Typically, we only recommend it for enthusiasts or on a device that’s not your primary phone for work.
That said, if you want to try the One UI 7 beta on a compatible Galaxy phone or tablet, you have to enroll in the beta program, which may already be full. Head to the Samsung Members App, add your phone to the account, and wait for a banner to appear at the top mentioning the beta. It’ll say, “Registration for One UI 7 Beta” or something similar. Click on that, register, then open your settings menu and check for updates.
Keep in mind that many of the beta programs are likely full by this point. If not, and you get the notice to join a beta, give it several minutes to register in the system before checking for the update on your phone. It’s not instant, but if you can successfully register, you should be able to try Android 15 early.
The Wait Is Almost Over
It’s worth mentioning that we’re seeing these beta builds arrive for multiple phones and tablets in countless different regions. Samsung is finally moving in the right direction, and the wait is almost over. Now, the only phone that has yet to get the beta is Samsung’s budget A55, which should arrive shortly.
Moving forward, Samsung will continue pushing beta builds out to all compatible phones in the beta program, gathering feedback, and patching bugs or issues. Then, if everything goes according to plan, the first official public updates will begin in April for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 models, flagship tablets, and more. Then, Samsung will slowly work down its long list of devices.
