Samsung will reportedly launch the Galaxy Z Fold Tab in Q1 2022

2021 will see a bunch of new folding and rollable smartphones launching (not from LG), but if you’ve been waiting for a foldable tablet it’s looking like you’ll have to wait until next year to get your hands on one if a recent report is accurate. The Tri-Fold tablet from Samsung that is thought to be called the Galaxy Z Fold Tab will allegedly be announced during Q1 of 2022.

We’ve had folding smartphones, so why not folding tablets that open up to reveal a much bigger viewing area? According to GizmoChina, the Galaxy Z Fold Tab will apparently also support S Pen functionality although it isn’t known if the folding tablet will have an internal slot for the stylus. What we do know is that the hybrid S Pen will make its debut with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 later this year, and will also be compatible with the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Little else is known about this tri-folding tablet from Samsung although we can surmise that it will sport UTG (Ultra-Thin-Glass) and be powered by the latest Snapdragon or Exynos chipset. In the meantime, it’s a case of waiting but its definitely something we’ll be keeping an eye on for you.
